I'm rating this order 5 stars for a couple reasons. This heat protectant actually works and I have type 4 hair, yes the spray is not the best but I would just recommend spraying it in your hair or on your hands then working it through and it also might leave your hands feeling a bit greasy. I can't speak for people with looser textures I only used it to blow out my hair then added product on top and my hair is fine, It is a BIT sticky on your hair but with other products it's fine. It is also lightweight and I believe it left my hair soft. The size is also pretty decent and the smell is nice to me it smells only a little bit like cologne but overall I think the product is good and works well.

...like most of the reviews, I absolutely love this product. It protects my hair, helps it hold a curl when using a curling iron, and has a nice fragrance. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because of the sprayer. It doesn't spray out in a mist, just a stream, and you cant adjust it. I like to spray this on my dry hair before I use a curling iron, but the stream just wets my hair and I have to wait for it to dry before using the iron.So, I decided to do a little experiment and try a different spray bottle. I tried a small, empty bottle with a regular spray nozzle. Nope. It still came out in a stream. I even tried a continuous spray mister, like the kind beauticians use. Nope, that didn't work either: No mist, just a drippy stream. This spray smells amazing!!!! I’ve used it a handful of times while straightening my daughter’s super curly hair, and it not only protects but leaves her hair with a nice shine (not greasy) and smells great even after heat styling. It dries quickly, so I don't have to wait to start styling her hair and doesn't feel sticky (unlike other products I've bought). It’s affordable and works well...and smells way better than pricier products I’ve tried. I’ll definitely repurchase

Please, please, PLEASE test this on your skin before using it on your hair. I’m one of those people who never have allergic reactions to anything, but this almost sent me to urgent care. I used as directed, and at first everything was great. I loved the way it smelled, felt great on my hair etc. However, about 20 minutes after I applied it, my scalp began to itch, then burn, and then I noticed blister spots. I had to wash my hair twice to get my scalp to stop itching/stinging and to keep new sores from popping up. I really wish I’d taken pictures of what my scalp looked like after the reaction happened. The next day was the worst. Almost my entire scalp was covered in these crusty, painful sores. It took a lot of TLC to get my scalp to heal, and thankfully there’s been no lasting damage. Use with caution, test on a patch of skin on your arm or something before using it as normal.

It has sort of a strong sent. I couldn't get used to it after having a coconut sented one for ages. Its a bit sticky but it does protect your hair. I used it and my hair didn't feel chopped after I washed and dried it. The spray doesn't mist very well. Its more like a jet stream that shoots and doesn't cover much area. I had to rub it into my strands for maximum spread
