Review for 7.8 x 18 FT Garage Floor Mats for Under Car, 2.8mm Thickened Rubber Garage Flooring Roll.My 2-car garage floor has the epoxy coating. The problem is the coating is peeling off after many years. It is actually in very bad condition, both in appearance and very nasty when I need to get on the floor to perform maintenance work on my cars. It is bad under where each car is parked, probably due to the winter salt and other snow/ice treatments used on Ohio roads. The outer perimeter of the garage floor is in pretty good condition and in the end that was to my advantage (see below).I research several solutions. I really wanted the floor stripped and recoated since I know there are much better coatings now. There were three problems for this. First, the cost. It would be several thousands of dollars to do it correctly. Second, finding a contractor to do it correctly. Third, I have many heavy items in my garage around the perimeter and moving those outside for even one night would be a huge problem.I researched floor tiles for garages, both plastic and rubber. The advantage is I could do the labor, but they still are either expensive or have major problems, or both.I decided to try these floor mats. From the description and the reviews, these particular mats seemed like good quality. So, I ordered a single mat to try. It arrived quickly. After I put it down, I immediately ordered a second mat for our other car. That is the best endorsement. Again, in my case I did not need the mats to cover the entire garage floor.One comment that may help future users: The first mat arrived on a nice sunny day in Ohio. I unfolded the mat on the driveway to let the sun heat up the mat. By the way, this no trivial task since the mat is VERY heavy. Only a few minutes in the sun is necessary for the mat to almost be too hot to comfortably roll back up and then move into the garage and unroll there. I used the shipping wrapping for the bottom of the roll when I dragged the roll to/from the garage. I say all of this because the second mat came on a colder day that was overcast. I just unrolled it in the garage and the next day it had several wrinkles, didn’t look near as smooth and nice. So, the next sunny day I had to roll it back up, unroll it in the sun… you get the picture; it was a lot more work. However, it now looks just as nice as the first mat.

Y’all, I’m happy as a clam!! Look at my garage floor before and after. It is AMAZING! I’m 55 yo woman with back trouble and did everything myself. From dragging the box around to cutting it to shape. It is manageable if you put some butt and elbows into it. It cuts so easily. I’m so in love with this. My garage floor previously disgusted me. I didn’t have $4k to spend on poly floor. Also I didn’t want to have to move everything out of the garage. This is stellar. I will buy another roll for the other side 100%.

We put this in our shed and love it! It’s thick, water proof and looks expensive! It is easy to cut to fit. It’s huge and heavy when it’s shipped. I rolled it out on my driveway. Cut the mat in the measurements I needed which made it much easier to carry and put in the shed. The raised ridges makes it slip proof and its easy to sweep clean. I highly recommend it!

looks nice but thin and tears extremely easy. parked a 4 wheeler on it and it stuck to the floor and tore appart when we went to move it. We tried to glue it down as waterproof flooring in a trailer and it turned out horrible and jad to be removed. Does not handle temperature change, glue, parking on it, or basic movement. Also did not come with tape as pictured.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Light weight, impervious to water, easy to clean!

I was looking for something to put down on my garage floors to help protect them. I live in the northeast so of course so we get snow. The salt and other stuff the state road puts down was really destroying my garage floors. So I bought this pad for them. These came on time and were VERY EASY to install by myself I am 68. I will try to update after the winter weather to see how these worked out. Get gray ones because everyone knows…black especially on floors shows every little thing. Everyone who comes to my home wants to know where I got these because they want them also. They do have wrinkles after laying them down but over time they will relax I am sure. They are for protection for my 23 year old new home garage.
