We love the Shark NeverChange Air Purifier—so much so that after buying the large version (the 1,400 sq. ft. model), we purchased two of the Compact Pro models (250 sq. ft.) for our bedrooms! It has made a noticeable difference in the air quality throughout our home. It is extremely easy to get it set up, and we had our Compact Pro models set up in under 4 minutes (see video)!You can manually adjust the fan speed, but we typically leave ours on Auto Mode in the main living area (the larger model that covers 1,400 sq. ft.). For the Compact Pro versions, we prefer using Eco Mode. In addition to the HEPA filter (which doesn't need to be replaced for five years), the Compact Pro also features one washable mesh dust filter, while the larger model features two! It's easy to maintain—you simply vacuum it off, and the purifier will notify you when it’s time to check it.The odor neutralizer, located at the top, can be locked into place and manually adjusted to increase or decrease the amount of odor control. While it doesn’t completely eliminate strong odors (especially lingering kitchen smells), it noticeably freshens the air and helps restore overall air quality.When you first turn on the purifier, your starting air quality might register as poor, which is when the unit is at its loudest. As the air improves from poor to fair to good, you’ll notice the noise level decrease significantly.The round design looks sleek and modern, but it's not as easy to place flush against a wall. However, it fits nicely into corners, so placement has not been a major issue for us.Overall, we’re very happy with these purifiers and would definitely recommend them! Both the larger and smaller are pictured individually and together.

Love the fact that I won't have to buy new filters for a very long time! The "permanent" filters are easy and fast to clean. Performs well for my needs and is reasonably quiet on all settings except the highest, but then I have it six feet from my bed. Price is very reasonable for this high-quality unit.

This unit is very sensitive to dust, smoke and cooking odors. It quickly removes all 3. We've kept ours on Auto, so it turns on the fan as soon as it detects impurities in the air. As the particle count goes back down, so does the fan speed, from high (level 5) down to fan turning itself off (0) when clear air has been detected for about 5 minutes. At that point, it goes into Eco mode, saving energy. We had to test it b/c didn't believe our air was so clean at first. I carefully lit a stick on incense and went near the intake fins. Instantly, the incense smoke registered and was soon cleared from the air. (So turn off the unit if you like keeping incense in the air for a while. lol.)After short learning curve, it's easy to use and seems dependable. The weight is just enough to keep it sturdy and steady, but it is easy for us to move. We purchased the model for 1500 sq. ft. and it's doing a good job for our double wide mobile home, here in the dusty desert where the wind can stir up a lot of dust and allergens outside.

I should start off by saying I love this air purifier as it has already made a noticeably difference in air quality in my house. The auto setting works well and it kicks on and off just fine as needed. It can be easily moved around even though it seems quite large in the ad photos. Only reason I’m not giving this product the 5th star is the noise level; when it is running full speed I can’t hear anything but the purifier inside my house. My fiance was knocking at the front door the other day and I left him outside because I couldn’t hear him LOL!

This purifier seems to do a great job! I like the auto ECO feature. The machine is larger than I expected. It is very quiet and the brightness can be adjusted so that it doesn’t interfere with sleep. The neutralizing cartridge smells clean and fresh; not a strong, heavy odor. There seems to be less dust in the house too. The “never change” filter is much more economical than traditional filter that must be changed frequently.
