Makes Water Heater Maintenance So Much Easier!
This tool is a game-changer for flushing and cleaning electric or gas water heaters. It easily breaks up sediment clogs and helps drain the tank without any hassle. I was surprised how simple it was to use, even for a beginner like me. My water heater runs more efficiently now, and I expect it to last longer thanks to this maintenance. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to keep their water heater in top shape!

A MUST have item for a Water Heater Flush/Drain!
We are surrounded by poor quality broken products & exaggerated claims so I must report that this item is EXACTLY as advertised!!! Good quality & sturdy build. A simple but VERY handy tool when flushing/draining a water heater. Easy to install , just attach to heater drain on one end and a hose on the other. The clear view window is a MUST have! You can see IF the water is even flowing without a helper or running back and forth to view the end of hose. The air injection (I used a small compressor) is also a MUST have! I watched the heater flow stop again and again but with a couple of blasts of air I could see the water moving and also the clogging debris! WOW! Whether you are a DIY'er or a PRO I can't recommend the "Sediment Buster" highly enough! Makes the job easy and almost fool proof. I'm glad that I got one and you will be too! Just my .02 cents.

Game changer for homeowners!!!
The media could not be loaded. Long but worth it:We bought our home 3 years ago, and ever since I drained the electric water heater (50 gal) every year, until recently all of a sudden while working from home, the pressure relief valve opened and hot water started filling up the basement floor, so I shut the cold water valve and the electric power. Attempted to drain and a lot of sediment started coming out until it clogged completely. Searching online I came to 2 options, this was the winner as the other one had bad reviews of damaging stuff inside the heater but not this one, ordered it and it took 4 days for it to arrive, and while waiting we were turning on the power, cold water valve and taking showers or whatever and then power off and shut the cold valve, to avoid having an increase in pressure inside the tank while we were away and having a mess in the basement. It arrived and OMG! My eyes could not believe it, as soon as I plugged it in and 2 or 3 first pumps of air and the clog was gone and water started coming out. Ended up attaching an old sock with a zip tie to the hose as a filter and filling a 5 gal bucket multiple times for easier unloading. Took me almost 4 hours to clean it up until only clear water was coming out and see for yourselves in the last picture the amount of sendiment. God knows if the previous owners ever did drain it, as it is a 15 years old water heater. As soon as I was done and following the instructions I started back the heater and no more sendiment!!!Water pressure improved, water temperature improved (as over the last few months we lost heat probably because of the build up) and the pressure relief valve is not triggered anymore. The quality is great! I used a hand pump, as I didn’t have anything on hand and everything was closed as it was Sunday but it can withstand 80 psi on an automatic pressure pump. Totally recommended!!

In most areas it should work.
5 stars for design an ease of use 3 stars for here in Central Kentucky. I settled on four stars, because it’s a well made item that should work in most areas. We have really hard water here. 14-18 ppg I tried for 20 minutes to use this product and it kept clogging back up. I’m sure it works in some areas and I will try again. It’s a great design and well constructed but the hard water particles are just too big, and there’s too much.

Fast and effective!
This product works as advertised. Great way to assist in draining sediment from the hot water heater. Like the clear view to see when the sediment is completely removed to avoid having to drain the whole tank and waste water. It was so fast to clear the sediment. Took longer to pull the hose out and put it away than to actually use the product. Well worth the money for the convenience and time saved.

Nasty goo!
Ok im not one to leave reviews. I moved into a house that has been vacant for years and the 12yo hot water tank "worked" but had never been flushed. Its a family home so i know. I couldn't for the life of me to get it to drain, and what would come out was a thick white goo substance. Barley one person could use the hot water before it ran out. I was one day away from putting a new tank in the home. I decided to try this and I cant believe how much garbage came out! It took probably an hour of opening and closing that valve and blasting air into it. Every time I did it more would come out. I highly recommend this thing. Now mine was bad and I flushed it twice so 80g of water but now open the valve runs easily and clear. It heated up so quickly and the hot water doesn't smell anymore. This thing bought me some time before I have to replace it. Now I'll buy a new rod for it and hopefully I can get a few months if not years out of it since I have other pressing issues to spend money on. I read the 1 star reviews, its built well, did its job. One thing would be nice if the valve had a bigger handl but, hey it easily just saved me a grand right now. 😁

It actually works!
To be honest, I thought this was gonna be a scam item, it started popping up randomly on ads and whatnot so I was suspicious of it but intrigued enough to try it. Well, it actually worked as advertised, the first time I hooked it up it didn't do much a bit of sediment came out (thats with the cold water pressure on) but not much else, but after that first few pumps the sediment just rushed out. Every couple of minutes I would shoot some air through the air valve again just to mix the sediment up and kept doing that till the water was mostly sediment free. I also appreciate the extra inches it added to the hose connector (as the factory drain valve is rather short ) so with this I could hook up my hose no issues. I also appreciated the instructions included that differentiated between draining the tank and flushing the tank and had easy to follow steps.
