A MUST have item for a Water Heater Flush/Drain!
We are surrounded by poor quality broken products & exaggerated claims so I must report that this item is EXACTLY as advertised!!! Good quality & sturdy build. A simple but VERY handy tool when flushing/draining a water heater. Easy to install , just attach to heater drain on one end and a hose on the other. The clear view window is a MUST have! You can see IF the water is even flowing without a helper or running back and forth to view the end of hose. The air injection (I used a small compressor) is also a MUST have! I watched the heater flow stop again and again but with a couple of blasts of air I could see the water moving and also the clogging debris! WOW! Whether you are a DIY'er or a PRO I can't recommend the "Sediment Buster" highly enough! Makes the job easy and almost fool proof. I'm glad that I got one and you will be too! Just my .02 cents.

A simple but very helpful and easy to use product.
2 year review. Used for over 2 years now and it is well worth purchasing this. A small air compressor and a garden hose and you are set. Take less than an hour to do what used to take 4 or more hours to drain, part fill, drain, repeat. You open faucet(s) closest to the tank, turn off the main water supply and then you can go through the steps and be done in 1 hour. Don't over tighten anything. Do a few small tests with the to-tank connection and to-hose connection and then you go from there. Pro tip: if your faucets have a screen on the spout, either unscrew those or be sure to clean them right after the tank cleaning.

A Must-Have Tool for Water Heater Maintenance
I recently purchased the Sediment Buster Water Heater Cleaning and Flushing Tool, and I have to say, it’s been a game-changer for maintaining my water heater. After using it, I can confidently say this tool is worth every penny. Here’s my experience:PerformanceThe Sediment Buster works exactly as advertised. The air injection process is incredibly effective at breaking up and flushing out sediment from the bottom of the tank. I could actually see the sediment being removed through the clear window, which was super satisfying! After using it, I noticed an immediate improvement in my water pressure and how quickly my water heats up.Ease of UseI was a little nervous about using it at first, but it turned out to be really simple to set up. The instructions were clear, and there are even video tutorials available if you need extra help. I used a basic air pump with it, and everything worked perfectly. It’s also great that I didn’t need any extra tools or complicated equipment to get the job done.Build QualityThe tool feels sturdy and well-made. The ABS plastic construction seems durable enough to last through multiple uses. That said, I did notice a tiny bit of leakage at the connection point during use. I think this was because of the washer provided—it wasn’t sealing as tightly as I’d like. Swapping it out for a better-quality washer solved the problem completely.Value for MoneyAt $39.99, this tool is an excellent investment. Not only does it help keep my water heater running efficiently, but it also saves me money in the long run by improving energy efficiency and extending the life of my tank. Plus, it’s way cheaper than hiring someone to do a professional flush! What I LovedIt actually works! My water heater feels like new again. The see-through window lets you watch all the gunk being flushed out (weirdly satisfying). It’s easy to set up and use—no mess or fuss.It works with both gas and electric water heaters. What Could Be BetterThe washer that came with it wasn’t great—I recommend replacing it with a higher-quality one.If your tank has a lot of sediment buildup, it might take some extra time to get everything cleaned out.Final ThoughtsOverall, I’m really happy with this purchase. It’s efficient, easy to use, and does exactly what it promises. If you’re looking for a way to maintain your water heater without spending a fortune on professional services, this tool is definitely worth trying out.

Very neat, wish I had one years ago.
Works great! It doesn't exactly make it easier to clean/drain a water heater, and if anything, it ends up taking a little bit longer in set-up and clean-up with the additional tools and steps. However, the results are so much better, it's almost "not getting it done" to try to clean a tank without one. We live in an area with cruddy water. We need a water softener, really. Until everything else is perfected, this is a great way to protect the water heater from suffering the effects. Highly, highly recommended.

It works!!
I was certain I was wasting money on this and it wouldn’t work. However I have to say I was wrong big time. This had to be one of the Best Buys I’ve made in a long time! It’s worth every penny. My water heater is 20 years old and still running never flushed it before and anode rod never changed until today. This made flushing it while inspecting it so easy. Will warn you tho what ever u use to pump air in don’t go lower then 50-80psi or it will back feed water into airline. I found 100psi on a pancake compressor to knock the sediment up. I also found short and then long burst to be efficient. I kept one hot water faucet open to make sure I didn’t over psi the tank. Raised water and flushed completely several times.
