This case fits my 4TB Crucial drive perfectly and securely. I like that it is just big enough for the drive and has a spot for the cable. No complaints at all!

A fantastic companion/case for your Crucial X9 SSD! I am old enough to remember handling some gaudy and heavy hard drives--Way before they started making externals, etc. I was using HDDs in External Enclosures to make them External.SSDs, especially the fine offerings by Crucial, have made working with external drives breeze. I illustrated working with older HDDs because not only is the X9 amazingly small and compact, but even in this case, it is still smaller, lighter, and more compact than any Internal or External HDD!TIP: Buy the gray case--It will be easier to see and find. Tie a bright piece of string to your SSD, and also one to the case. Once you toss this into a bag (or drawer), you may not be able to locate it quickly by size (or weight).This is not your Dad's (or Grandfather's) external Storage.

Solid case that fits the SSD well. My only complaint is that it feels a little low quality and isn't as sturdy as I would prefer.
