Brilliant device with Deafening Siren
After reading the mostly positive reviews, I thought I would try this device out to cover my garage. It's simple to set up and very easy to use. I thought I would wait before I write a review, and I have been using this mini alarm for 2 weeks now with no complaints whatsoever. The sensor picks up movement from quite a great distance and angle, and gives you 30 seconds to disarm the device or leave the area. After that all hell will break loose as the siren will literally deafen you until deactivated. This thing is so loud, it is physically impossible for anyone to remain within its vicinity whilst it is screaming.I feel this is a great device and extremely suitable for garages and sheds etc where a conventional alarm may not be fitted. Highly Recommended.

Too flashy and too flimsy
Most intruders enter in darkness. The very first thing they will notice, in a dark room, is the bright red flashing light emitted by the alarm, thirty seconds before the alarm sounds. That would give a thief ample time to wrench the alarm from its flimsy plastic wall-mount and stamp on it. Although the alarm bleep is loud, it lacks power and is barely audible from outside the house. It'll do for the garden shed.I purchased one unit, to assess its function as a deterrent. I will not be buying a second unit.

Good for what it is
Firstly, lets face it, you are paying 13 quid here for an alarm. All you can expect here in terms of protection is to scare the sh*t out of any yob breaking into your shed/garage looking to steel bike/tools etc. I wouldn't use this in isolation for security but it does add another layer of protection at a cheap price. Its quite flimsy in design, but its not really designed to withstand any impact or someone ripping it off the wall. You'd be paying 10x for something more robust and secure. Its easy to set up, easy to arm and disarm giving plenty of time to turn off/on. Its very loud and if it doesn't achieve alerting neighbours, it will certainly scare off an off chance intruder. I've had mine in since Feb and did notice the cold weather did impact arming occasionally, not setting on the last arming digit. That said, repeated the process and worked fine. Other than that all seems good for what it is.

Was initially pleased as it did what was required at a cheap price. Then suddenly fob stopped working. Tried changing batteries but still not working.

Impressive alarm especially for the price. Why I really rate this product:1. good battery life2. very loud alarm3.battery compartment is secure as you need a screwdriver to open the compartment4. only 4 numbers keypad but offers 24 combinationsIt would not stop a burglar but it would certainly stress them out !As an alarm it does a very good job!

Two Stars
The entry delay of 30 seconds is to long pity you can't set entry time

Added security without the cost
At £6.99 it is excellent value for money, I've been working from home and based myself in the summerhouse over the covid outbreak. I wanted some security for the bits and pieces that I left in the summerhouse overnight. It's easy to use and the alarm is really loud when activated. Cheap cheerful and functional
