This was an amazing set, everything worked out perfectly!

The cake holder is nice as it swivels the cake around to frost. But piping little decorations was a mess. The piping bags are way too small. I have never done this before and the frosting squirted out all over my hands because it didn't have a clip to seal the end. It was a disaster and I have put off trying to do it again and if I do try again I will buy much bigger piping bags with a lock for the end.

I really like this product. It works well and makes maneuvering the cake for decorating so much easier.

I used these products when I baked my first layered cake for one of my customers. It was fun I loved how easy the stand turned. It was fun for my first time!

The cake turner works pretty well. The ball bearings are smooth and despite being made of plastic, has held up for over a year. The tools that come with it are not high-quality. They work but if you plan on making cakes regularly you may want to look into alternatives. The metal for the off set spatulas and spreaders are very thin and don't seem to be set in the plastic handle securely. The plastic spreaders and decorating tools are very flimsy. The tips for piping are pretty good and have held up. No rusting observed yet but I make sure to clean them after use and don't leave them soaking in water. The piping bags however are not high-quality. They leak and are made of a thin plastic. Will they work in a pinch? Yes. But if you need to pipe a stiff buttercream and make elaborate decorations, make sure you are prepared to have back up plans in place.Overall, great as an economical starter kit. Not a kit you want to plan on passing down to your offspring because it probably won't last that long.

I’ve never decorated a cake before and I was shocked how simple this set is to use. It’s important to decorate it while the cake is frozen that helped a lot but all the tools helped make a very smooth cake and exceeded my expectations. My son loved his birthday cake!

I purchased this for my granddaughter and me to create cakes and cupcakes together. Kootek get good reviews and they are well earned based on this purchase. This is a good kit for a beginner or someone with experience. All the basics are in here including a good turntable, for a very good price. The tools have been easy to use and work well. This would be a great gift for anyone interested in baking. And the pieces are easy to clean and should last quite a while.
