But with it’s construction being on the thin side, you are reminded that it is indeed an electric blanket because you can feel the heating cables within it's build which start their inlaid pattern at about 10 inches inward from the outer most edge/border, but I haven’t found the feel of them to be at all off-putting either.I didn’t like that some spots seemed to heat up more than others but over all that’s also pretty minor and that most importantly it does warm up quickly. I also didn’t like that the handheld controller itself tends to heat up a bit when on the higher settings adding some worry to its safety but I’ve been using it for over a year now and haven’t had issues otherwise; and, I found you don’t have to keep it on high for very long, just to warm up quickly before setting it lower. For more precaution I initially got in the habit of hanging my controller from a hook hung off my bed side dresser drawer which helps give it adequate space to "hang out and be cool" and that does seem to help it dissipate heat better; but I also often use it while on the couch with the controller right on top of me or with it sometimes ending up off to the side or even under me, but still haven’t had any issues.This is the throw size model and I like that its smaller in terms of size management because while I'm also using other regular blankets with this (only when its really cold, and when I might lay one blanket on top of this one to better hold the heat in) on my lower half to add more heat where it’s needed most for my legs and especially my feet that can often get cold as ice, and this really helps with that. I do often use it on the couch but either way I always use it with a flannel sheet which not only works well for adding extra warmth but better helps to distribute the heat and has also been very effective in keeping it cleaner longer and so effective that I haven't had to wash it yet.This is surely not a perfect product, nor at this price point is it made of the highest standard or quality in comparison to models more expensive, but despite that its issues have been minor, and it’s been working really well for me over what's been now its second cold season or second year and it’s still keeping me warm at night. Will update if any of this changes, but again, it's going into its second year of daily use (when it’s cold), and I can recommend it with a full five stars.

I bought this because my old one just stopped working, I feel like this time of year. I always will have a heated throw blanket on. I’m one of those people that always gets cold. This one I can tell is pretty durable. Which is great because I use it all the time. It has quite a few of heat settings. Which is nice so if you’re really cold, you can turn it up all the way and the high is quite warm. I also like that there’s a four hour timer on there or a two hour. The weight of the blanket is a perfect weight. It’s not too heavy, but definitely not lightweight. The color is perfect. It matches just as I thought it would. It was a great price. And I was surprised on how fast it was able to come here.

This is a very nice blanket. The blanket heats quickly and provides warm cozy comfort throughout the night. Controls are easy to use and easy to see in the night darkness. Loving the softness of the blanket and its sherpa backing. With my previous blanket I had to use a flannel sheet with the blanket (in addition to the regular bed sheets) to hold the heat (or wake from being chilled). Not a problem with this blanket. I really like these blankets and have purchased them multiple times. They are super soft and my dog always comes to snuggle when I have it on.Expect them to last two or three seasons with daily/nightly use in cold weather and only washing when necessary. Note the directions stress to plug the blanket connector in *before* you plug it into the wall socket. The control WILL eventually fail. But the blanket still works without heat. ;-)

Exceed my expectations. It had small odor when opening package, threw in washer on gentle cycle then dried on low heat in dryer, came out great. 1st night used the preheat setting then lowered setting to 2 about one hour in was too hot and turned off. 2nd night preheat again, this time turned off before sleep. 3rd night just right- set to low and slept on all night did not use preheat. Blanket is very soft and cozy. I use a sheet then blanket no other covers.

Got this just in time for winter... and i love it. Easy to set, auto off, great amount of warmth, super cozy fabric not too thick but also not thin, super soft, no noise, no heat smells, I got a queen It fit perfectly on my bed. Love the design so when my partner sleeps he doesn't have to have the heat on his side.

This is the best King size electric blanket we've ever had! Extremely comfortable and works great! We have tried numerous other top brands and never been this pleased. I would definitely recommend this blanket to anyone who is looking a wonderfully comfortable electric blanket that works great and feels luxurious!Nice weight to it and warm even when heat is not on!

I bought this product because the blanket was the right side, I read reviews on other sites that it got up to a good heat, and it had a long cord. Unfortunately the heating is very uneven and only half the blanket heats up. I definitely wouldn't buy this again.
