Noctua's trademark quality strikes again.
I'll start off by saying I paired this with an Intel Core i5-12600KF 3.7 GHz 10-Core Processor and TLDR: temps are greatSo I was building a PC for a friend that had never had a PC before and really wanted one.I cobbled up a build for her using a spare motherboard I had laying around as a starting point which led me to picking a CPU that didn't have a cooler, but not to worry, Noctua exists and man they just really do make awesome coolers.Installation is actually quite simple, (don't do what I did and unlatch the fan from the heatsink, not a problem or anything, just unnecessary on my part because I had a different cooler from them that did require moving the fans off, but that's besides the point), the instructions are laid out in such a way where it's difficult to really go astray. the visual diagrams are concise and easy to comprehend, and even gives some thermal paste tips for beginners who may not know how much or where to put the paste which is helpful because something like this can be very stressful for a newbie. As for performance, The most intensive game we had on hand was deep rock galactic which can be a very demanding game in some circumstances because of the way it renders, we cranked the settings to max and the game didn't stutter once, more a testament to the CPU but how was the cooling with this performance? stayed pretty consistent at a frosty 60-63C for the hour we ran the game at max settings. The room temp ambience was on the hotter end too with that level of cooling performance, it's winter so we have some heaters running in other rooms and the house contains the heat quite well, was maybe around 75 F (23* C), and like I said, it stuck around 60-63C. well under the 65C minimum average temp CPUs hang around at.Very impressed with this cooler and as always, I'll continue buying noctua products when I need cooling solutions.

Another noctua banger
Can't go wrong with noctua. Purchased this for my NAS because I needed something low profile and near silent. Installation manual is extremely thorough and easy to follow, packaging is top notch, and that fan is nearly inaudible.

Worked as well as I would expect
Worked well but was not enough for a 9700X

Very good cooling slightly annoying fan.
Very good fan at keeping the cpu cool. It does have a slight annoying fan noise to it that can be heard which is why i'm taking a point off. Will play with the fan settings to see if I can lower the sound. It's not horrible but it's annoying.

Perfect if you’re paranoid
I’m always paranoid that if I used a water cooling setup then my PC would somehow immediately leak and ruin itself (horrid tech luck doesn’t help it)It fits nicely, it’s quiet and does everything it’s supposed to. It’s about as easy to install as one of the CPU fans that come with intel CPUS sometimes.

Works great with a Small Dorm Factor (SFF) PC build
This low profile cooler works well and the fan is really quiet! I bought a SFF case and needed a low profile cooler, this was the best one I could find with my height limitations. The thermal paste works well and I have plenty left over. I have no problems with RAM or IO clearance as advertised.Comes with a metal Noctua sticker.(Just a heads up, when I first bought this, I received a used cooler that was dusty/dirty, had some bent fins and was already opened. So, I returned it and got a replacement, of which it was actually new.)I would recommend this cooler for SFF builds.
