Q: Can anyone explain the what original smells like?

it smells like honey but not overpowering. very pleasant

Q: How do i open this and use it? I cant see the instructions, even if i magnify it.. do i put the lid back on? I just cant see it.

1) Remove Lid. 2) remove plastic seal. 3) replace lip. 4) adjust the variable vent to desired amount.

Maybe a little "citrusy"..... Hard to pin down but the product works terrificly. I bought it after a small appliance mishap(fire) and now keep it in my kitchen cabinets all the time. Very refreshing and clean.
