This beef and barely soup is a good thickness on its own to eat with a spoon, I used 2 cans of this soup to make a 9inch potpie because the ingredients are thick enough, I didn't need to use any other filler to make this soup into a dinner to serve 4 people. This beef in this soup is a thumb sized chunk and isn't tough to chew either are the vegetables added to the barely grains that is all mixed in a brownish meat gravy, not salty tasting.

Extremely filling and perfect for lunch, excellent quality ingredients, wonderful taste, size is perfect for a good meal, salt content average to other canned goods, and good amount of veggies included in soup.
