The Secret Blessing: The Dala’il al Khayrat for Children

I have nothing but high praise for this book.The author has found a story to tell a story, the boy who is learning about this prayer has questions that children would ask and should ask, no matter how odd they sound. It is beautifully woven in with the story of the darood. Cleverly illustrated with pretty pictures and drawings, relevant to the story - I think this is one of the best books on spirituality and adhab I will have bought for my child.

Kids love learning

Great gift for Muslim kids! Actually it is a great book for me, the mom. In a very busy day it is so nice to have a gentle way to close. Such a soft story. So loving.This book is a fictional story that includes verses from Dala’il Khayrat, a book of blessing on the Prophet Muhammad (s). In the book the kids learn about what the verses mean and where the Dala’il Kahyrat came from. Reading this helped out children to become more interested in the Dala’il Khayrat. This book is a great addition to your bedtime story library. I have noticed how my children are approaching their prayers in a much more intentional and respectful manner. Meaning is very important. For me too!!!

I am thoroughly impressed by how the author converts ancient esoteric knowledge and practices into a well written and easy to understand children’s book. Great for mystics with children.
