These are not thin plates. They have some weight to them. I think it makes them more resilient to chips. They are smaller than I was hoping, but I should have taken out a measuring tape and compared with other dishes. 12 inches sounded good, but it is a bit small for a dinner plate. However, it is great for things like a sandwich with a side, especially because it is oval. I will be honest, I would really like it if they would make a larger version - maybe 16 inches or so. Nevertheless, I am thinking about buying more in white (I have them in black and they look great).

They are perfect size

These are modern looking and classy! We love the size, not too big and not too small!

The design is gorgeous and I'm not even talking about how beautiful it looks with certain dishes. However, the trays are very heavy and very clunky in use, also handwashing them is a little challenge with it being again heavy and a little slippery. Beware! I would say if you're careful with them, the trays are definitely worth the hustle.

Makes dinner appear as served in a restaurant. Great price.

I bought these for a dinner where a chef was cooking in my home. I wanted black for one of the dishes he was preparing and they were perfect. They are very well made and since the event I've used them several times. Love them!!
