Writing is as good as any expensive rollerball pen (if not better). Smooth writing and excellent for writing on A4 lined pads and then scanned onto PC for storage. Very clear. Highly recommended.

GOOD PEN FOR THE PRICE.

If your writing is really neat you'll love this one. It writes smoothly, with no ink blots/lumps. It's very comfortable to hold, and overall is great value. Now, if like me, your writing looks like some dead spiders on the page, this sadly won't make your writing legible, and given that the line is a bit thicker than a standard Bic type pen, it might actually make it harder to read. I should have been a doctor.

I ordered the blue ink version and on CLOSE inspection I can see that I received blue ink. But it's almost impossible to tell the ink colour. The pen casing of the blue and black versions looks almost identical. So it might have been luck that I received the correct one. The glossy part of the pen shows the ink colour. The packaging does not!

Having recently purchased Rotring pens (which were much better value) and having purchased Schneider products for ages this pen was a let down. Don't like the ink delivery or the nib ... guess I was just expecting something different for the price.
