Nice improvements!!!
I purchased this same bladder years ago (2018 ish?) and only just finally blew through it (my own fault, not a manufacturer issue). I didn’t even question purchasing the exact same brand. I love the new look and feel to it, my only 2 complaints are: it’s just slightly longer than the old one, but it’s not an issue and that the inner bladder has a “divider” which I can see making it harder to clean. I may purchase the osprey cleaning kit that has the thing that keeps it open to dry properly. Other than those, I like that the top really seals itself now even before you close it. I love the new flow options on the mouthpiece that allow you to select gradually open, all the way, or totally closed. It seems more sturdy than the old version and I’m confident it will hold up for years, just like the last one.

So much better than my camelbak!
I used a camelbak for years and always struggled with leaks. It could be user error but I never had success closing the camelbak without spilling and there was always leaking when I would take the bag out to refill. This reservoir is super user friendly. I use it for long distance cycling and had no issues or leaks after 6 hours of riding.Things to note:-- When you first open it, the seal to open the bag is VERY strong. Be super careful opening it the first time as I bet it would easily rip. Once you open it that first time, there's no issue from then on.-- I modified mine to use the camelbak bite valve instead because I find this type to be very mold prone. It was a bit of a tight fit, but I was able to get the camelbak one on and never had any issues after that.

Easy to fill and doesn't leak!
This water bladder is great. It's easy to refill and does not leak. I had to replace mine after accidentally leaving it at an AirBnB abroad -- got a great price on Amazon and delivered quickly right before my next trip!

Leaked right out of the box.
Bought it a couple months ago. Went to use it for the first time today and it immediately started leaking badly out of a hole where the handle connects to the bladder. Didn’t even get one use out of it and because I didn’t function, check it when it first showed up now it’s too late to return. Bummer I was excited to use it.

They keep getting better
I've had Osprey water packs for years and every time I get a new one, they do tiny quality of life improvements that really make the experience better. This one has less parts in the nozzle so it's easier to clean than before, it has a hard shell back to keep it's shape when low on water, the hook at the top perfectly fits my Osprey pack, and the handle is really nice for filling the pack. Besides that, it's exactly what you need it to be. Light weight, holds a lot, strong magnets to clip the nozzle to your pack, and works with any backpack. Can't recommend them enough.

Overall great
This hydration bladder is great overall. More expensive than it needs to be for sure, because it’s Osprey’s proprietary bladder that works exclusively with their bags (*eye roll*) but it DOES have some unique and good qualities that other bladders don’t have. I appreciate that the straw hose can be disconnected from the bladder itself so I don’t have to unthread it from my pack every time I want I fill up, GREAT for longer or multi-day hikes. The rigid back is also helpful for keeping it in a low profile shape and for stuffing into a full pack. I wish the handle were attached in a more obviously secure way, it seems to have been heat bonded and along the top edge of the handle the bladder had actually bonded to itself as well as to the handle, I peeled the bag away from itself and seems to fine other than I slight mark from where it had been fused to itself, but the fact that it had bonded to itself and needed to be peeled away at all is slightly concerning. The handle feels secure but the fact that there is no VISIBLE mechanical connection feels kind of sloppy for the price of the bladder, and the fact that the interior that had been accidentally heat bonded could be peeled away leads me to believe that the handle will eventually also peel away…That said, the bag is still totally usable, and better than any other bladder I’ve ever used, it’s just disappointing for the price, and even if the handle DOES eventually peel always from the main bag, it wasn’t really a selling point for me to begin with and the bag would still be totally useable for my needs

Great replacement/upgrade bladder with upgraded bite valve
Bought to replace my 2 year old 2.5 liter bladder that came with my Osprey hydropack. Upgrade design handles on the bladder make it easier to hold while refilling. Updated bite valve makes it easier to stop and turn on the flow to the bite valve. And the ability to route the hose to either left or right side makes it easier to shorten or lengthen the hose when routing inside and out of the pack.
