The Journey Within: A Journal for Camino de Santiago

This journal is perfect for my journey on the Camino. I love that it is lightweight and has thought-provoking and inspirational prompts to guide me, the traveler, along the way. I appreciate that I can reflect and share my pre-thoughts, present experiences, and post feelings. I am an artist, and I love the illustrations. I feel like this is a wonderful journal for a traveller who wants to travel light, yet share a wealth of inner thoughts and reflections. Thank you!!!

I completed my first Camino last October. Like many others, my journey continues--El Camino de Santiago is indeed a metaphor for life. For several months now, I've been avidly following Erica and Ricky. Their exploits on the Camino Portugués captivated me, and I regularly tune in to their daily YouTube updates from their ongoing adventure on the Camino Francés.Upon discovering their journal was available, I ordered it without hesitation. Today, as it arrived, I quickly skimmed through its beautifully illustrated and meaningful pages. I can say without reservation that I grappled with each of the themes presented, and then some, both in my preparation for and during my walk on The Way.A heads-up for potential buyers: Post-Camino processing is indeed a real thing. The final section of this petite journal is aptly titled "Beyond the Camino." With an uncertain timeline for my next Camino, I plan to use this journal for reflection, dedicating a day to each page. While I pore over my photographs of Spain and videos from the Camino, I will record my insights and reflections in the spaces provided. This is a great companion for the Camino. It is the perfect size to bring along. It won't take up much space in your backpack. Complete with thoughtfully written prompts to explore before, during, and after the trip. Lots of opportunities for self reflection here. I'm already a big fan of Erica and Ricky, and I'm so glad I bought this!

I discovered this sweet journal while following the CaminoTellers on youtube. I instantly fell in love with their travels. The prompts in here are inspiring and I now this will be a record I want to keep and share. Now, I am more excited than ever to start my journey and begin documenting my thoughts. I't light and little and just perfect.Anyone considering doing a Camino is someone who is looking inward. Of all the guides, this inward exploration is a beautifly logical, kind way to treat yourself and commit to being present in the moment and feeling all the "feels." This is something that I am seriously excited to start, dive deep. Then, at the end have this record and keep as an intimate documentation of the pilgrimage. Like I said, perfect.If you are reading this, you probably need this book :)Follow your bliss! I always forget to look at the size of a book. This book is “small”. I understand why they did that. You are supposed to take this book along with you in your backpack as you walk the Camino.The problem with small books though?Small print.That’s the main thing small book producers forget… you have to be able to read them,Otherwise? The journal/book is sweet and in keeping with the Camino spirit.I follow the authors on Instagram and YouTube. They are delightful and informative. I just wish their journal was a little bigger. Sorry guys!

Very appropriate for the Camino hike. Is broad enough to use on any part of the trail but specific as far as processing the journey. Very helpful in developing spiritual meaning through gratitude, insight to who we are, and reflect on what we can gain from our adventure.

Even before you embark, magical things happen like this small lightweight companion to your Camino. Inspirational, moving and lots of places to make it personal for your own journey. We wish we had it when we did Frances a few years ago. It's already in our kit for upcoming Portuguese Coastal Camino. Thks to the creators Ricky & Erica who give us all extra inspiration.

Die Caminotellers Erica und Ricky haben dieses Kleinod mit sehr viel Herzblut und Sachverstand geschrieben. Das Buch beinhaltet viele Tipps zur Vorbereitung auf den camino, unterstützt während der Pilgertour und hilft danach wieder im vielleicht nicht mehr normalen Leben anzukommen. Es bietet ausreichend Platz, um die Überlegungen festzuhalten, die einem bei den im Buch gestellten Fragen kommen. Es wird mir ein wertvoller Begleiter auf meinem nächsten camino sein.

This journal helped me a lot to prepare spiritually on my Camino journey. It learned me how to be grateful, set intentions, be mindful etc etc. This journal is carefully created by Erica & Ricky and you will feel the love they have put in to create it. So worth it. Highly recommended!!

Shall soon walk the camino France and have seen some of the Caminotellers videos as part of my preparation. As a thanks to them and also to learn from their experiences (they seems to be nice persons with the heart in the right place) I purchased the book. Glad I did. Will be a very good companion on my pilgrimage, with quotes an questions to help me focus on the why and how.
