I wonder if you can use these bags to freeze food?

Put the food in the paper bag and then in a plastic, resealable bag. You can re-use the plastic, and will be safe from endocrine disrupting plastic.

Do the baggies stand up on their own? Looking to put chips in and set out at a party. Also will chips grease seep through?

I tried. These will not stand up. Not a problem with the grease issue tho'.

You could put the cooked meat into the bags to soak up some of the grease, if you don't have any paper towels. You could crumple up a bag to get the grill started. That's all that comes to mind when thinking of paper bag & grill. Well, 'fire insurance & fire extinguisher' also come to mind.
