Brilliant collar
This collar is actually amazingly well designed. For a start it could completely replace any standard collar as an everyday wear item, I think. Its nicely padded, adjustable and very well put together from a "pretty" point of view. The stiches are nice and tight and the metal parts seemingly well chromed. The control part of it can safely wrap out of the way using the supplied clips. Although I would suggest easier to use clips... You can get a selection of various things you could use in a pound shop. And if those wont fit... Add some of the rings you use to clip your keys together... This also works to lengthen it, if needs be.The control section of it is gloriously simple. Just a strap that either slips over the muzzle from under your dogs chin, or becomes part of the collar so that the choice is yours when it comes to the need for stopping your dog pulling without messing about moving components or taking the thing on, or off. What I mean is... If your training your dog on the lead... You can use the collar as a "stopper" or a normal collar. And changing from one to the other takes about 3 seconds. So if your dog wasnt socialised, for example... Or for some reason had a real issue with that one dog down the road... You can use the collar simply as a collar, but stop and apply the "muzzle" in a few seconds to get past and train your dog.But it has the added benefit of the nose strap... The controling bit, being threaded back through the neck section of the collar which means that when the dog pulls, the force of the strap pulls the dogs nose directly down and back towards itself. Wheres the Halti, the other controling collar that I brought, used a specific sized muzzle strap that would pull back up towards the user... Meaning the thing tightened and scraped up the dogs nose and twisted her neck... It did the same job, they both stopped my dog from pulling, but the canny collar did it in a much nicer way, and in a better package. The other good thing that i noticed was that because the canny collars controling strap just looped over the top of my dogs snout, that my dog could yawn and open her mouth fully, which didnt bother her anywhere near as much as the Halti, so she scratched less with it.Also, and heres the major thing... Its MUCH easier to get on and off compared to anything else like this as the nose strap is really loose when installing... So it slips over really easily. This could be seen as a bad thing as others have noted that the nose bit slips off. This could easily be true, but fixed by keeping a very slight pressure on the lead... Even having a heavier dog lead clip seemed to help with me. But after having the collar for loads of walks now, its only ever "came off" twice. But that just means the collar went back to a normal collar, and it took a few seconds to rectify.I honestly couldn't recomend this collar enough.(btw, my dog is a border collie. Not sure how it would work on a shorter snout dog. May be fine... May not. I havent seen it in action)

These collars are good for stopping ur dog dragging you
I was not disappointed I have a reactive border collie who likes to chase cars, this collar fixed it although it took a while for my dog to get used to it. The first one I bought was to big but there was no issues with refund after I returned it.

Very good
Bought this for our female doberman puppy as she was getting very strong and pulling on her harness. This has worked wonders to stop her from pulling, and she walks very nicely next to me during walks now. She does not like to wear it, and the first time we put it on her she was constantly trying to get it off; but with some treats under her nose she’s gotten more used to it now.The only thing I will say about it is that if my dog stops or pulls back while we are using this, the nose loop does fall off quite easily; then it can be a pain to try and get it back on her. Apart from this, it has really been a great help making our puppy walk nicely and be more well behaved in her walks.

Think I was expecting a miracle
He walks better but hates it and constantly rubs his face on the ground to get it off - he doesn’t enjoy his walks but it is more bareable for me

Not impressed
We have a German shepherd and have followed the instructions and made sure we have the correct size. Unfortunately, this doesn’t make any difference whatsoever. The design is quite poor to be honest. All it seems to do is choke our dog to a point where she can’t breathe, but has not effect in reducing her pull.

Works brilliantly if you have sized it correctly
I have used the Canny for many years now. In my opinion its simply the best tool for training a dog to walk on a loose leash and once they do, you never need to use the slip line around the nose again.I see negative reviews from people claiming that their dog just tips the head forward and the slip falls off, this indicates that they have the wrong size in my experience and should go to the next size down. Unless a dogs snout is very short its highly unlikely that they slip will simply fall off if the lead is connected to the slip D-Rings and held in the correct position when walking and you have the right size. If there is so much slack that relaxing a bit means it just falls off, it's just too big. Some may even use a paw to try and get it off, slight pressure on the D-Rings should stop that too.Another complaint is that some dog hate wearing the slip. Well yes, they may huff and puff a bit at first and move the head around trying to dislodge it. This really is to be expected, it's something they are not used too, of course they may object a bit. The point is its slightly annoying to the dog at first, but it doesn't physically hurt them, doesn't risk neck injury and in most cases doesn't go too close to the eye either. They soon get used to it. Reward for not objecting is the solution I use.So, if you are looking for a safe easy way to train your dog not to pull, I don't think you can beat this product. It really does stop pulling almost entirely from the outset and completely in next to no time. And unlike a harness where actually a big dog can still apply enough pressure to cause some arm aching which personally, I absolutely detest, it just doesn't happen with the Canny.

BEST COLLAR EVER!!!
This is the BEST thing I have ordered on Amazon in a long time, I was at my wits end with my beautiful 1yr boxer. He is very smart, loving and listens pretty well at home but take him on a walk and oh my he turned into a terror. He pulled non stop, on high alert and if he saw another dog he would go bonkers, jumping and barking trying everything he could to try and get to the other dog. Now he has an 8ry old boxer brother, goes to the dog park often and is very friendly and super socialized (he’s is great at the dog park off leash except he never wants to leave). He is not aggressive at all but on a walk he is very reactive. My arm was getting pulled off by all the jumping and pulling. He also acted this way if he sees a bird, a squirrel anything that is small and moves.I have had SEVERAL dog trainers. I would go to dog training sessions, I had trainers come to my house. We tried personal trainers, I was taking him to dog training sessions since he was 4mo old. I watched a lot (it feels like a million) of dog training videos. I have bought every prong collar (from the cheapest to the most expensive), I have tried different rope collars, chain collars etc. I even tried sounded collars, vibrating collars and electric shock collars. Nothing helped, I mean nothing helped.Despite everything I did nothing worked to help curb his reactiveness. Even so I would still take him on a walk every single day. I often asked my brother to go on a walk with me because I needed a break from all the pulling.I started watching Cesar Millan and he had a short video on recommended dog training “tools”. He has a short clip on something he called a “Mexican Halti”. Also since my dog has a lot of energy (he’s a puppy) he also recommends a dog backpack (which also has been great). I then purchased this dog collar (similar to the “Mexican Halti” that Cesar spoke on). Can I just say that this was life changing for my dog and me.Honestly I did not expect much, I have been let down by every other item I have purchased for my dog. I have spent thousands at this point on him with no results. My dog although not 100% perfect on a walk he is much more calm, walks right next to me, does not pull on the leash. Does he want to go say hi to the dog across the street. Yes, yes he does but I am able to correct him pretty easy and he actually will listen and follow (after some gentle urging). The only “issue” I have with this collar is that since my dog is a short snouted and right at the line of a size 4 and size 5 (I got the size 5) it sometimes falls off his nose while on the walk. It comes off about 2-4 times. I can quickly get it back on him and it is usually not a big deal.Overall one of the best purchased of all time on Amazon. I 100% recommend this product.---Update:I had the collar for a week or two until I decided that it slipping down was getting pretty annoying, so I ended up getting the size 4 (size down since I was in between sizes) this helped tremendously. So if you are right on the edge and you're not sure which size to get definitely size down in my opinion.

goede maat is zeer belangrijk

Miracle in 10 minutes
I have a 1 year old hyper excited Border Collie. After each walk, I started to hate the walks because of her pulling but came across a training video and the trainer used the collar. I was surprised how effective it was so wanted to give it a try. First I ordered size 4 but it's too big for a medium size Border Collie so changed it for size 3. Perfect fit. She resisted first 5-10 mins on and off but then she got used to it and I have to say it's magical. All I can say is thank you.
