Tastes great, good protein content, has some fibre, and one of the bars that hasn’t bloated me yet. Slightly expensive but overall been great.

Why did you choose this product over others?:With this being vegetarian, and 20g protein + <250kcal this was a great balanced bar. Taste:Taste like nutty chocolate bar 4.5/5Can feel too sweet if you have more than one. Quality:5/5Texture:5/5 - nuts come through well, nice crunch and not to hard. Protein content:20g a bar is amazing Sweetness:I find it well balanced, but certain times its tastes overly sweet. Not sure if this a batch issue or just a me and my taste bud issue.

I’m reviewing the Nutty Chocolate Caramel version of these bars. The obvious bar for comparison is Snickers, since the flavour sounds like it has the same appeal. But Snickers protein bars, despite being a fair bit cheaper than these Optimum Nutrition bars, come out on top in pretty much every respect except one- the protein content, which is 20 grams here, 10g in a Snickers protein bar.In every other respect, I’d rather have a Snickers. This Optimum Nutrition bar is wider and stumpier. The chocolate coating gets a little bit too sticky too quickly, as though it has slightly more vegetable oil in, which means it’s a little bit messier to eat- it also crumbles a fair bit, and nut pieces are liable to fall out.The texture’s my biggest turn-off about this bar. The top half with the caramel goo is fine, but the bottom part has a texture that’s a little bit like rice paper. It does crunch a little bit, but the texture seems out to place somehow compared to the rest of the bar, and somehow it manages to avoid being a really satisfying bite.The taste is fine, but for me, too heavy on the caramel- a thick, dark goo of a caramel but without being sweet, more chewy like an old toffee. A bit more emphasis on the nuts would’ve helped I think.At the current asking price of almost two quid forty per bar, these are really steepy priced even by normal protein bar standards- and except for the fact there’s a bit more protein in here than in some other brands, there’s not enough to justify it.

Love these, so much flavour and great for after the gym. Just wish they weren’t quite so expensive.

It is for the first time when I eat these protein bars but I have to admit that my wife we finished 10 bars in 3 days and a half because the literally very good and at the same time very nutritious consider the amount of protein that they have.Because there is no added sugar which is something that I was looking for and also they have clean ingredients.The size of the bars it's more than enough for one snack before or after the workout which gives also a lot of energy and the amount of protein that for example my body would need.I had one in the morning for breakfast and the thing is I wasn't hungry until 2 pm but obviously these are not meant to replace food.I would definitely buy them because they are very tasty, they remove the fealing of hunger and there are made from clean ingredients.
