[Upgrade HiFi] Car Stereo Radio for Lexus RX300 RX330 RX350 RX400H 2004-2009 with Wireless Carplay Android Auto, 2+64G 9 inch HD IPS Thouch Screen Bluetooth Radio with GPS WiFi AHD Backup Camere

I just installed this product in my 2008 Lexus RX350 and really love it. Display is crisp, software is fast and easy, no diminishment in sound quality/volume, and the bevel kit is pretty damn good. I also installed the backup camera and it works perfect. It’s a huge upgrade for us from having no phone or even aux connectivity in this car.The install of the unit was relatively easy, it made for a fun project with my dad. Snaking the cable for the backup camera was the most difficult and time consuming task. Just installing the screen/stereo probably only took an hour or two. The wiring harnesses were plug and play with my old Panasonic shown in picture.I saw some others had to cut or modify plastic to fit the bevel kit but after some configuring we were able to securely mount it with no alterations. I found that fitting the heated seat panel kinda concurrently with the stereo worked well. The heated seat panel holds it all in and so far it seems very sturdy.I couldn’t find a great video for the rear camera install. I ended up running the wire from tailgate-center roof-passenger taillight area-passenger floor behind gasket- behind glovebox. The cable was just barely long enough. Some minor wiring required to crimp a few wires together. They include a wiring diagram. You will need to make connections for the rear “backing up” tail light so that the system knows when to display the camera.

The head unit itself looks and sounds good, albeit it doesn’t seem as secure in there with no bolts holding it in. I installed the backup camera but I have no lines. There is also no option in the head unit that I found to turn them on

This Apple CarPlay head unit completely transformed my driving experience. It was easy to install, fits perfectly, and looks sleek. The touchscreen is responsive, and connecting my iPhone is seamless. The sound quality is a huge improvement, and having hands-free calling and navigation makes driving safer and more enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone upgrading an older car!

Beware Lexus RX 400H owners, the web page states that this unit fits the RX 400H. This is not true. There are certain electrical problems but greater than that is the fact that the face plate itself does not fit, making it impossible to re-install the panel below it. The face plate is over 1/4” taller than the original radio. Plus the shape of the bottom face plate is not the same. See the picture for a side by side comparison. It is a fine unit if it fits your car electrically and it's opening size.

Great value for money product. I had to use some electrical tape at the top clips to make the unit sit flush and not move/vibrate as there are bolts to hold them together. Very pleased with the product. SteeringWheelKey learning was amazing. Reverse camera works with R. Now, I can use CarPlay as soon as I enter the car and it connects within couple of seconds. Overall very pleased.

We replaced an outdated stereo for this and don't regret it! It does have some glitches and quirks but overall works well. The biggest issue we have is when more than one Bluetooth device enters the car, the system gets confused.

I was a bit worried about the effort it might be to install this after watching the video and various others, but this was the easier plug-n-play install ever.1. Remove plate by shifter2. Remove heat seater plate3. Remove 4 allen screws (hardest part)4. Disconnect wiring harness5. Plug in new wiring6. DoneEasiest install ever.Zlink is a little annoying sometimes, but its honestly pretty good, and we have a backup USB-C cord in the glove compartment. I highly recommend buying this device. The price is very good and it really gives the old lexus a facelift.

If you connect multiple phones, the connectivity drops constantly. It is super annoying when you are following gps and it drops when you are on at multiple forks. Even with one phone connected the music drops momentarily once in a while. Installing wasn't hard but unfortunately it's only slide and snaps. And snap don't click. So there are tolerance issues. With all that though, for me, it is worth for the money and better to have it than the old cassette and CD player that my 2005 rx330 has. Radio antenna was missing but the seller had sent it upon request. Good support.
