Quite easy to put on without any air bubbles as long as you take your time, would I recommend it, very much so

This is my second purchase of this sticky back film.I re covered the tops of my sideboards.They originally had a horrid oak laminate on top, so covered with the matt white to match up with the sideboardFeel like I have new furniture

Like many fitted kitchens mine has in cupboard bin, it's a great handy little thing, unfortunately however hard we all try we don't always manage to get the rubbish in to the bin! So the bin cupboard is constantly being wiped down or cleaned out, over time the surface has discoloured & had started to wear away - I looked at replacing the cupboard but the blanching of my husbands face when this was suggested to him indicated that this may not be as easy as it seemed to me! So I decided to go old school with some sticky backed plastic - it really worked a treat - cupboard looks pristine & hubby didn't have to get the tools out. It was easy to fit, just needed a little care and attention to prevent air bubbles - I chose the matt option & was concerned at first as it looks a little creamy in colour but once inside the cupboard the colour difference was minimal,almost un-noticeable. In fact I think the gloss white may have stood out more. I'm very happy with the finished job & I still have enough left for a repeat if required, but as it's only been done for a few weeks I can't really tell how well it'll last however it hasn't immediately started to peel away which is always a good sign!

Tough and durable. Easy to cut. Not so easy to lay. I guess there must be an art to it.

It is easy enough to use but not very good quality, if you try to smooth it too much it causes a rip. Once it is on, it is very good and looks super smooth. It’s a matter of how good you are at applying it. My first one arrived in a bad condition but I was sent a free one again so that is fine .

My sister wanted to update a pine desk and this vinyl did the job really well. The vinyl is thin, similar to paper, but still thick enough to not show the wood grain underneath. Very easy to measure and cut the vinyl as required. Smooths very nicely over the desk, and we actually used a ruler covered in felt rather than buying the smoother suggested, and it did the job perfectly. It took a bit of work to figure out how to get rid of the bubbles over the corners, but the best way I found was to slowly smooth it between your fingers, working your way along. The vinyl isn't particularly sticky on the back, which makes it very easy to remove if you do need to get rid of a bubble or change your mind in the future. We are both very happy with the final result.
