Highly recommended dungeon building fun
This game is hugely addictive. The variation in heroes that you can draw always makes for a fresh gaming experience and there are always clever ways to build synergy between rooms and spell cards. We've had many tense games where a victory looks game teed from early on only ,to have clever building pull it away. It's a perfect filler game if that's how you want to refer to it, deep enough tactics to make each game fresh but never lasting more than an hour with maxed out players and deliberating players. Great value and it comes out every single time we meet in my group.

Great game
This game is so much fun. I would recommend playing with both Boss Monster sets combined, it opens up greater possibilities when gaming.

Straight forward game. Fun and very playable
Bought for my 12yr old son. We played the original quite a bit and is a nice addition. Only played it as standalone to date but imagine combining both would add further longevity to the game.

Good game, but poor quality box
Took delivery of this at the second attempt. First time it "failed in transit" whatever that means. The game itself is good fun, similar to Boss Monster one obviously. The cards themselves are good quality card with fun artwork. The box it comes in though is flimsy and was already showing signs of wear inside the shrink wrap! So, you might need to find a new box to store it in.

Brilliant fun for all ages
Love this game, play it regularly with my 11 year old daughter and 14 year old son and they love it too.Easy to learn but tricky to master!Highly recommended to any who are fans of Nintendo games & art work and humorous, strategy card games!

Not very fun
I can't say that I enjoy Boss Monster 2. It's a very attractive game and the artwork appeals to my nostalgia, but when it comes to playing the game beyond the first few times it's evident where the design falls down.Essentially you are building a series of rooms through which heroes will go, taking damage per step, and then dying or surviving accordingly. There isn't much to do other than place rooms down - we didn't get much opportunity to get new spells despite the large deck of them. After a few turns you realise that the game is entirely about making a factory that deals X damage, where X is greater than the hero's health. There's no real variety in what the heroes do, and the rooms ultimately don't really affect the game beyond "do some damage".One of the things I look for when playing a game is interaction between players, and this has practically zero. The occasional spell will allow you to fiddle with your opponent's dungeon, or the heroes going through it, but they often don't actually affect the game in any interesting way. You could play this solo and have equal amounts of interaction.I could suggest many improvements to the rules to make this game more interactive, more varied, and most importantly more fun, but I really shouldn't have to. As it stands Boss Monster 2 is just not that fun.
