Worth the charging rate for the price but dont forget about sound.
The media could not be loaded. The noise it makes I think is comparable to a loud box fan. Also min wind speed is about 8mph after slit wear in period,, 2 weeks

Not Impressed
Start up speed is about 10 mph But it does not produce power until about 20 mph.the most I've seen is 133 watts in a 60 + mph wind .

Did not get hybrid controller with unit
Standard controller came with unit not hybrid type unit did have 3amp output when voltage was at13.5 vdc

So far so good
The media could not be loaded. A friend and I each bought one of these wind turbines. Until today the wind had been intermittent and relatively light. Today the wind has been consistent at 6 to 8 mph with frequent gusts to about 20 mph. We put volt/ohm meters on each and during gusts were seeing over 14 volts.We won't know how well they're actually producing until we live with them for a while and I want to get a better (more informative) controller to get better information.We're in Quartzsite, Arizona and it can get windy here at times. My turbine is at about 10' and I haven't yet gotten guy wires on it but in the current conditions it is doing well on the black iron pipe.We did have to retighten the hub nut on both turbines this afternoon. Hopefully they won't work loose again.From the video you can see mine was turning at fairly high rpms. It is noisy but not as bad as I expected.I think I got my money's worth but time and observation will tell the tale.Addendum:The day after writing this review we had a day, and following night, with consistent 8 to 10 mph winds with gusts to 20 mph. When I went to bed my 400 amp hour battery bank stood at about 80%. The next morning at 10AM it was at 100%. Normally it would take until 2PM or later for the solar panels to take the bank to 100%.
