The CL155 is not weather resistant and should be used indoors only. You should look at the CL255 which is weather resistant.

How easy is it to change the code?

It's easy if you follow the instructions. Keep the C button depressed throughout the coding process. I've done this dozens of times with no issues

do i need to remove lock to change the code?

Yes you do. You only need to remove the side of the lock with the buttons on it. You must then use the tweezers provided to remove the relevant pins to change the code. There may be another way that I'm unaware of...

Will this fit a 60mm thick garden gate?

Hi There, I purchased this is a replacement and thought it was really good value and a quality lock. I did have an issue with the length of main "spindle" that goes through the door and I got in touch with code locks customer service and they exchanged it free once I had paid to post the original one back. I still found this cheaper than buying from somewhere else. It does say 60mm so you might be ok, £27 is great value
