My tortoises love this. I give this to them on the rare occasion in the summer but use this along side the usually food in the winter.. it becomes super difficult to find weeds and plants due to the cold weather, this is a great filler. It lasts for ages and you dont need to use that much. My tortoises (Hermanns) are 4 years old, i usually use a Gu dessert pot by completely filling the bottom without overlapping the food. I add boiling water to the top and leave the product to expand and do its thing - this only takes a minute or so. Because i use boiling water i transfer the product to a bowl and spread it out a little (it cools down quickly - i wait above 5 minutes before adding it to there food and putting it out for them). It can be pretty messy - i usually have to bath them as it sticks to their face and on the underside of their shells.

The media could not be loaded. HiMy old Spur Thighed ... Always been on a 'fresh' diet, veggies, salad, fruit and weeds. All of these are getting harder to come by☹️....so I gave this a go!!Small amount of pellets, add boiling water, mix...allow to cool (thickens as it cools too!) And I was REALLY surprised....This morning was a cool day, (she's an outdoor tortoise), and is slow before the sun warms her up. She sniffed and was obviously attracted....munched.Thank you so much, the reviews helped...so I hope this does to.Would I recommend this product: 100% ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 👍

You need to wet these has they are very hard. Not a bad product
