Lockdown Money well spent
With the UK under total lockdown conditions it's almost impossible to attend anywhere for entertainment. Until you discover the fun you can have with this cheap and cheerful kitchen gadget. Get the batter mix correct and you are on your way to a sugar rush beyond your wildest dreams. Entertainment value with members of the family trying to produce the largest donut easily 15 out of 10. You'll be producing perfect mini ring donuts every time if you read the instructions and keep the aperture of the machine about 1cm above the surface of the hot oil in your deep fryer. Add slightly more liquid (5-10 ml) of milk and holding the machine about 8cm above a hot skillet/fryng pan, you'll be turning out perfect pancakes/flapjacks in no time at all. Highly recommend for the cost. And the results are delicious.

Exactly as described
Arrived promptly and is exactly what I expected. Having read other reviews I wasn’t expecting to make perfect donuts at first. If you hold the dispenser close to the oil then you do get a decent donut shape, it is very easy to clean( ran it under the hot tap before popping in the dishwasher !!!) I would say the results depend wholly on the recipe you use...so shop about the internet as they vary quite a bit ( I haven’t found the perfect one yet) the basic no yeast recipe I made a half decent home made donut well....they were all eaten. Invest in a thermometer for your oil as this will have a bearing in your finished result

Improvements needed.
Difficult to fill, difficult to use, as it’s unstablethe recipe on the side of the box is long and complex, and when you first trying to use it you want a quick straightforward recipe and an easy way to fill it.And once messy. It’s difficult to clean or take apart to clean.Needs improvements- simple recipe , more space to allow filling the hopper. And better stability fins. Stop it spilling the batter all over.

Not great
I been looking to get one for churros however this is not the right match for me.It’s sloppy and the churros come out like ugly chipolata sausage. If you don’t mind eating ugly churros ... might be worth it. But it’s a complete and utter mess ... it drips everywhere and isn’t really fit for the job I’d say. However it’s a little like you get what you pay for. Cheap but not particularly cheerful

Does the job
Easy to assemble, does the job, if you want perfect round donuts dont buy it took a few tries to get the dough the right consistency, no instructions on how to assemble or use
