Nice little clippers, bought as a replacement for an old set so I could have a new sharp set for my ancient rabbit needing a trim.He's an incredibly old eldritch beast of a rabbit and feels very birdboned so I tend to prefer to be very gentle when handling him which luckily he is more than happy to tolerate.The blades are sharp, the mechanism is smooth when you squeeze and you get a nice quick chop out of it with good control so I'm glad we bought these.They do have a quick guard to control the amount you trim but we have not needed it as our cryptid's nails grow very fast and I always need to take off a little more than the guard allows and I tend to go for speed doing these jobs (luckily for me his claws are all white/clear enough to see the quick) but it does just slide out of the way easily when you're not using it so that's great.We got the smaller size as rabbit claws aren't known to be super chunky but I reckon it would work well for most small/medium dog breeds as well, honestly.Good value for money, sturdy, thick comfortable handle with good grip but not so chunky you can't maneuver when needed.Fastest nail trim session in a while.Eldritch beast approved.

Would say its for dogs only, with cats its a bit awkward to use, feels like a torture instrument for cats so wouldnt recommend it for cats but dogs definitely, good value though and clippers are great quality

I have 2 cats, female cat is 95% and indoor cat and her nails were very long, I only had difficulty trimming 2 nails due to them being very long and the clipper was a little bit thick to get under the nail (eventually managed it) cat fought me on every nail. The boy cat however who goes outside all the time and whose nails were shorter though still needed a trim purred the whole time and all nails trimmed in under a minute! Easy to use clippers, small enough for moggies and cut quality was good. I would recommend
