what is the diameter range of drills, which can be fitted into this attachement for drilling in tight places

It is only built to accept a hexagonal fitting such as you get on screw driver bits. I know you can get drill bits mounted on hexagonals but you would have search to see what sizes. I used a 6mm masonry drill when I used it. It worked well although drill bit was rubbish.

Can I connect to ta drill with a Chuck (I mean normal chuck not the hexagonal one)?

I suppose that would be possible but it does not leave much flexibility on how you would use it. Far better with the flexible cable between the normal drill chuck and the DeWalt drill!

Is this dt71517t as listed or dt70619t per the picture? dewalt no longer makes dt70619t which is the device in the picture. seems switched

I'd have to search the workshop for the packaging from my one that I bought a few years ago but if DeWalt have stopped making the sequentially lower model number 706 compared to 715 as you assert, it's fairly safe to assume that you'll receive the latest version now, not that it would make much practical difference or guarantee which one you'd get if you ordered it even if you knew which one the seller had in stock. They may not even be able to tell you but it might be worth asking. All I can confirm is that it's a very well engineered, heavy duty tool and mine hasn't failed yet after taking some serious impact driver abuse, as designed. The only negatives are a lack of removable side handle for extra control and that the bits don't lock into the holder as it would increase the size but the magnet is quite strong and it's still possible to use hex adapted drill bits if you withdraw them slowly from holes whilst spinning. After stripping the Chinesium gears in several cheaper alternatives over the years, this was the last one I had to buy so you get what you pay for in general.

Will it stand up to impact screwing (8 to 10mm bolts)

I use it for 10mm headed nuts (m6 thread) and it seems absolutly fine.
