PERFORMANCE HEALTH Upeasy Seat Assist Cushion (Eligible for VAT relief in the UK)

I bought this because I had burst my shoulder, and currently owing to a muscle condition in my legs I need the power of both arms to rise out of a seat. Result - I couldn't sit down anywhere as I couldn't get back up again, so I was sitting on top of huge dictionaries - very uncomfortable. I then got this Upeasy Seat Assist Cushion and it has changed my life during this period. I use it for my work when desk-based - I just lay it on an ordinary chair with arms and it gets me up no bother. It's easy to carry around so I take it to restaurants and when visiting. When set to the right weight it presses right down so it's just like a cushion. So I was able to take it on the plane - like a cushion on the plane seat, and no bother still fastening the safety belt. Rose up with no difficulty. The important thing is to set it to your weight - just enough for it slowly to fold flat when you put your full weight on it - if set too high it doesn't fold down, if too low it doesn't get you up easily enough. It's comfortable too. Make sure the seat you put it on has arms - the best ones are padded but it still works on a hard surface. I think it's fantastic.

My wife has a tilt/ lift chair at home. Obviously this does not compare with that, but it is portable and allows us to go on holiday and to assist her whilst we are away and whilst we are travelling.

bought it for my husband to help to get out of chairs .he has used it a bit but I cant say its the answer but all takes time

It makes standing up so easy now.

Does what it says. Find it works a treat and has proved most helpful. Fully recommend !
