PentelEnerGel-X 0.7mm Tip Retractable Pen, Blue (Pack of 12)

These are my favourite pens to write with, the ink flows consistently and with ease. As a result this is a very smooth pen to use. You get a relatively thick black line and the black doesn't fade when on paper.The pens are very comfortable to write with, thanks to the rubber grip, as they do not slide between your fingers.The pen's didn't seem to last me that long, but they are all I use.The ink that comes out does stay wet for a couple of seconds so you have to be careful not to smudge the ink.Although these won't last as long as a bic, they are much more comfortable and smooth to use.

Over the years I have been nothing but frustrated at the cost involved in maintaining a decent pen. And disposable pens have never quite cut it for me, so when I bought these I was expecting the same in all honesty.What I have found is quite the opposite, the pens are confortable, even during extended writing sessions, the gel ink writes like a fountain pen but without the mess of constant refilling!I love a good fountain pen personally, but these are a great cost effective alternative for daily use in the office. I love these gel pens. The ink always runs smoothly until the supply runs out, there is never an issue with the nib not retracting or drying out. They are boxed, so easy to store the unused supply until needed and each pen lasts a good time before the ink runs out. The nibs of new pens have a little blob on the tip to ensure the ink stays fresh, which peels off easily. I switched to these a few years ago from my problematic fountain pen and haven’t looked back and just bought another pack.Update 2021These remain my favourite pens and, according to the product listing, I have now purchased them on 8 separate occasions. I did have one box a while ago that didn’t work very well, but it seems to have been a one-off glitch and I am glad I returned and bought more. I get through a lot of pens and these have not let me down, except for that one box.

Smooth writing experience

These pens are really good and last long, you get the full use of the gel/ink to the very end. I recommend this product

Favourite shade of blue, dries instantly matt. Use this shade constantly for work stationery, looks traditional & professional & blot free. Hard to find v pleased with purchase.

I'm finding it's clogging up on the tip, which is a shame as I love the colour
