I was very happy with this product until recently when both line retaining lugs broke within months of each other and it’s only about 18 months old! It’s not even out in the elements as it’s under my semi enclosed veranda. Tried using a bracket on the wall to retain line but it didn’t work effectively. Guess I need a new one but what to buy? Bought Minky as it was a name I knew and trusted. Any recommendations welcome.Addition to my review:Decided on another Minky to save redoing fittings and delighted to see they gave upgraded the lugs, look much stronger and not sure but maybe even replaceable? Very happy for now with this new improved product.

This has been a great little addition to the garden. It’s ideal if you don’t want a line permanently stretched across the space — you just pull it out when you need it, then retract it when you’re done.The line stays tight with no sag, even when I’ve got heavier items hanging, and it feels secure when clipped in. Price was fair too for the quality — it’s not flimsy or cheap-feeling like some of the others I looked at.Simple, tidy, and works exactly as you’d want.

This is well made, and quite heavy as a result, so you need to fix it to a strong fence post or solid wall. Easy to install and can be removed when not in use. The lines are easy to tighten and fix. Only slight downside is that when in place it doesn't rotate to different angles (as our old one did). But it's not really a problem as it works well fixed in place. Good value for the price I paid.

Seems very well made. Easy to take down for winter to prolong it's life.Got it at reduced price,so very happy so far.
