This gyroscope works well and delighted a 6 year old who was fascinated. However I can't help but remember the gyroscope I was given 50 years ago!!!!! It was all metal and I'm sure it will still be alive and well somewhere today. Everything changes but this version is fine.

As the middle part is white plastic it is difficult to see the hole for the string to enter. Suggest it was made of a defined coulee so you can see more clearly

vibrates! not what you expect from a gyro - pull too hard and it flies out the cradle. Chocolate fireguard?

Does not spin for a long time.
