Strata Products Ltd GN321 Ward 120L Water Butt including Tap and Lockable Lid

It's fabulous! This is a lovely thick water butt and I'd forgotten that a free watering can was included in the price so it was a nice surprise when I opened it! It arrived in a massive cardboard box with only the minimum amount of tape keeping it closed, so not only was it easy peasy to open, but also the work of minutes to prepare it for recycling! Everything I needed for installation plus the stand was included and I'm really very happy with this purchase. It's a good quality water butt offering good value for money, plus you get a free watering can! Excellent!

We love our water butts, we have nine in total now and they are so very useful in the large garden. This one is brilliant and is supplied with the all important fittings and stand. There is even a free watering can 😁. The quality and materials used are very high, sure to last many years!!

The article is what I expected with a lockable lid, but no key.It is easy to use a coin or screwdriver but at the price paid I did expect a key.It requires cutting the lid to make the hole for the rainwater pipe and this can be done using good quality scissors. I would not recommend using a Stanley type knife on this.It is now sat by my garage and ready to collect rain for my garden.The size is perfect and the quality appears of a reasonable standard.My last water but has lasted me over 30 years, so this one has a lot to stand up to.The tap looks to be of a reasonable quality and easy to install.Not had the opportunity jto try it out yet but as soon as it fills I am sure it will be fine.

Excellent value

There are 3 places where this can leak (assuming no holes in the actual barrel) and it achieves a 100% score. Leaks at the tap, leaks at the inlet to the barrel and leaks from the outlet in the gutter. Really annoying.The base stand that is provided is also inferior quality. Unless you have a 100% level base to put this on you will have a problem getting it level as there is insufficient material at the bottom of each base piece to put anything under it to level it. I ended up having to build up a level base underneath and then stood the butt on top. I would definitely invest in a more expensive option next time, and one that I have actually seen in a store.
