Total game-changer for long rides!
After a few too many rides ending with a sore backside, I finally decided to grab a gel bike saddle — and honestly, it’s made a world of difference. Straight out of the box, the saddle felt nice and soft but still firm enough to offer proper support. It’s not just a squishy mess like some of the cheaper ones you see.The installation was dead easy — standard rails underneath, so it fit right onto my existing seatpost with no problems. Took me maybe five minutes to swap it over, and I was ready to roll.First proper test was a 40km ride, and it was night and day compared to my old saddle. The gel cushioning really takes the edge off bumps and vibrations, especially over rougher paths and city streets with potholes and all sorts. It absorbs shock brilliantly, and I didn’t find myself constantly shifting about trying to get comfy, which was a regular thing before. It’s also a nice shape — wide enough to support the sit bones properly but still narrow enough at the front to avoid chafing on the thighs. Plus, the breathable cover means you don't get that horrible sweaty feeling after a long ride, even on warmer days.Only small thing I'd say is that it might take a ride or two to get the angle and height adjusted just right for you. Too far forward or tilted wrong and you might not get the full benefit, but once you dial it in, it’s brilliant. If you do any serious mileage or even just regular commuting, a decent gel saddle like this one is a total must-have. It’s made my rides way more enjoyable, and I’m kicking myself for not getting one sooner. Highly recommended!

So comfortable
I only fitted this yesterday but did 7 miles today and wow...it's like sitting on cushions compared to the saddle that came with the bike. Prior to this, I felt bruised for days on my bum after riding my bike even with a gel seat cover so I got this to see if it improved things. It really is a dream! I think because it's wider and more cushioned, it's much easier on the old bum. It was super easy to fit and have had no issues at all yet. Would highly recommend!

Comfy - but possibly not for everyone
A great seat, very comfortable, but perhaps not for everyone. I speak as an average ( if larger than average ie 16st ) male.First off, great padding - this is nicely built seat. But to be truly unisex, I suspect the front portion needs to be thinner. Also, it may be a good idea for the makers to reposition the switch for the (reassuringly bright) built in light. It's dead centre, so when you pick the bike up by saddle, you inadvertently turn the light on. Not a big issue, but one you might overlook in a hurry. It would be better a bit further in, or off to one side.My main concern was the shape. Again speaking purely as a man, I found it a bit wide in the crotch area. Absolutely fine for a woman (and I have moved it from my bike to my partner's machine, and she loves it) but I found I was getting - how can I put this delicately - compression in the tackle area. So, fellow males, it may be an idea to find something with more taper towards the front. Room for your stuff to hang, rather than being forced upwards ( especially on a hot day). Or maybe I just have odd tackle, as other male reviewers on this forum seem more than happy with the design. For ladies, you will love this seat. Really comfortable - but check the rear light every time you lift it around by the saddle. You will probably find you have switched it on.

Well padded bike seat.
I took this seat out for a three-mile ride this afternoon. It's a massive improvement over the one it replaced. That had some padding, but still felt like sitting on a block of wood over rough ground, a.k.a the local bike paths. I still felt some aches and pains, but nowhere as bad as before. If the seat lasts a few years, I will consider it a bargain.

Super comfy
Having a flat bottom, normal standard bike seats really hurt. I ordered this in the hopes for a more comfortable ride, and whilst I was sceptical, I needn’t have been. This is perfect! Thick and comfortable! Easy to install. Looks great!

Leisure seat for slow rides in an upright position.
Wildly uncomfortable after 20 minutes of riding. Probably great if you have an upright sitting position on a city bike and you're travelling at a leisurely pace, but if you're leaned forward on a mountain bike and putting power through your legs it's going to keep on bouncing you forward toward the nose. I've given it 3 stars because I can see how it has its place for someone's use case.
