Israeli Bandage Battle Dressing First Aid Compression Bandage, 6 Inch

You buy these hoping that you'll never need to use it. When I was first on the scene of a road accident and needed to treat a casualty with a severe head wound, I was fortunate to have this with me. The pack was easy to tear open, the bandage was easy to extract and unwrap while keeping the dressing sterile. It was easy to apply, the dressing was large enough to cover the wound and staunch the blood flow. The elastic scarf kept the dressing in place and provided suitable pressure.The fact that the vacuum shrunk pack is small and light makes it more likely that you will have slipped it into your pocked or backpack 'just in case'. I was glad that I had mine with me. Now I need to buy another one.

These bandages I am sure work well and although it took s while to finally arrive it’s in the first aid kit to be used in an emergency as needed.

Essential piece of first aid kit if you are a hiker. Seeing some barbed wire while hiking yesterday reminded a wise precaution to have one of these. Military standard of product to so you know will work.

I bought this as a chainsaw operator. As such I hope I never have to use it. Therefore I cannot rate the product, but the service and delivery was excellent

I hope I never need this! But it's vacuum packed, has a long shelf life and performs better than "normal" field dressings. Why they aren't in all first aid kits, I don't know. Be warned, postage is unexpectedly high - it does come from Israel, not from a local distributor. This one is for the car first aid kit (which is a requirement for continental driving pretty much everywhere now)

Got to try these at a 1st aid demonstration, they seem to work better than anything else, though I have not had the need to try them myself in an emergency, so they live at the top of my 1st aid kit

Perfect to keep in my first aid kit for injuries that are too big to deal with on the spot.
