Cleaned and gives a good clear window

This is a great product for easily cleaning acrylic. I use acrylic in my photo studio to create nice reflections for products and dust, finger prints and gunk are a massive issue. This quickly and easily brings the acrylic to a perfect mirror finish and helps keep the dust to a minimum.

the cleaner itself is good and does reduce clouding cleans without scratching shines plastic without going too greasybut my bottle I recieved (what looked re sealed or self sealed) was half empty when I received it after inspecting the top seemed wasn't screwed on correctly as it was wet so over time it either leaked or evaporated in the warehouse for the price I payed and it being just slightly above half I wasn't happy paying shy of £12 for maybe just over 4oz.the product itself is good and odourless.

I make Scale Plastic Models (think of Airfix but they are of a much higher quality now). Novus is a watery polish rather then a cream. I have used another polish, a cream, made by Micro-Surface Finishing Products, Inc. available in UK from Sylmasta ([email protected]) and that is good and probably a little "stronger" that the Novus. However, it left a very slight haze which a later application of Novus removed, so I use both. Each (even when used alone) produce a glass hard shine (provided that you have sanded the plastic surface of the model if necessary with micromesh cloth). Don't use a paper towel to apply polish - it can scratch (its made wood wood after all!). Use a soft cotton cloth like an old T-shirt.

Have tried multiple cleaners and buffers for plastic. Novus no 1 is my go to. Plastic surfaces come out renewed with minimal to no film left. Great product

Bought this spray to spruce up the perspex dust cover on my record player and it didn't disappoint. A quick spray and wipe left it with a lovely clean sheen. Also worked wonders on getting rid of the marks on my shiny high gloss wardrobe doors. The dust cover on my record player has a couple of fine scratches, so I might take things one step further and purchase the Novus 2 Fine Scratch Remover Spray.
