Great value for money, a great set for a beginner like me and wonderful views
I’ve only had my Newtonian telescope 3 months (Celestron Astromaster 130EQ) which came with 10mm and 20mm eyepieces. So I’m very much a beginner. This set fit perfectly with my telescope and the filters fit perfectly on my existing eyepieces and the eyepieces this set came with.Personally I’ve found the 10mm the sharpest but I also find it excellent with the 2x Barlow lens as it gives a much closer view. The 15mm and 20mm are very sharp but a wider field of view and I prefer a the closer images. The 6mm does provide a good zoomed in view but is slightly less sharp in the image. This is great for the moon and focusing on specific features for my telescope but is just slightly less sharp than I’ve found the 10mm plus eyepieces to be. Again using the Barlow lens I’ve personally found using the 10mm with it to be a sharper image than the 6mm.I’ve also got an adapter to take pictures through the telescope with my phone. This has worked well with the 15mm and my existing 10mm but is definitely harder with the 6mm due to how small the eyepiece is. So I’ve used the 15 and 10mm with the Barlow lens which have been great. The moon filter is amazing for viewing the moon and Venus it stops the brightness and allows you to see details on the moon hidden when it’s too bright. I have also used the blue and red filters on Venus as it’s so bright at the moment. These do remove a lot of the light and change the colour you see but that was what I was counting on to try and get sharper views of the planet without the glare.I can’t wait to use them on Jupiter to see if they help show the bands etc. but They’ve not been visible in the sky yet.Overall the kit is excellent. I couldn’t afford all these items separately and they so far have been great quality and really helped with different views and pics of the moon and Venus.I hope the review helps anyone who’s similar to me, fairly new to astronomy.

Excellent value for money. BUT !!!
I'm very new to Astronomy & have a Celestron 130eqd. I'd been wanting to add some different lenses to extend what l can view. 1 week into using my new device l accidentally dropped the 20mm setting lenses and it came apart. I looked on U Tube and found out how to rebuild. No matter how many times l tried. It rattled. Hence buying the extra lenses. Now I've got all l need at present. Worst of all, l still don't seem to find anything in focus. Are there any local groups or astronomers in the Holbeach area?Until l can get everything working as designed. I'm giving a 5 star rating but l will review when everything works

handy kit for begginers
as someone who doesn't really know what he is doing with astronomy, I bit the bullet and got this lens kit to go with my telescope.I have messed around with both lenses and the Barlow lens. The lenses are great and offer something of value depending on what you are viewing in the night sky, although I must admit i am a little dissapointed with the barlow lens so far as this has not added much to my viewing pleasure.Once the moon is higher in the night sky I will be able to make better use of the filters, until then I will continue to learn and enjoy this kit along with my telescope.

recommended for nexstar 102gt
Celestron Nexstar 102GT Computerised TelescopeI have a Nextstar 102GT so this review reflects the telescope as well as this kit. The supplied eye pieces dovetail size wise into the ones supplied with the telescope, and the barlow x2 also increases the power. So what can you see with it? This telescope does receive some mixed reviews. I live in a heavily light polluted area and using it outside the front of my house, with street lights, what were my results? In a word, satisfying. Using the barlow and the 6mm I aimed at Jupiter. The best way I can describe the size of the image is a marble held in your fingers. The cloud bands were visible, not with the same definition as a photo of course, nor the 'red spot', but several moons also in the same field of view.True the image is a little shaky, but the telescope tracked, and allowed me to view for as long as I wanted. There is some colour aberration, but at this price point, seeing something with your own eyes, if this is your objective, it achieves that admirably. I'm waiting for Orion to rise at a more reasonable time to try observing the nebulae, as well as M31, but away from my local street lights, I'm confident I won't be disappointed.I also used the moon filter, does what it says on the tin, but it is not essential in my opinion for observing the moon. (Description details the full contents). In conclusion, if you have one of these telescopes, then its a worthwhile purchase. Definitely cheaper than purchasing the components separately. The case matches the supplied (telescope) case. If anything it would be better of there was a larger combined case for all the items, and get yourself a little red keyring light or similar so you can identify each item when using it.

~Quality set of lenses
Good set of lenses with handy carrying case. Still experimenting but have noticed already how improved the views are.

Breathed New Life Into My Powerseeker
I've got an old Celestron Powerseeker 127eq and I've only ever used the eyepieces and lenses that came with it. I never thought that by changing/getting better eyepieces, would have improved the viewing from the telescope so much. The 2x Barlow lens is miles better than the standard 3x one I got with my scope. It actually is quite heavy which is a sign of good materials being used. The 2 eyepieces are also of very high standard and you really do get great views of Jupiter and Saturn through them. Even when you use the Barlow lens, there's no distortion at all.Out of the filters, the moon one is my favourite, and I don't really use the other two.The whole kit comes in a very nice protective case... which is actually quite small, but it does its job.Overall, this is an excellent piece of kit to use for stargazing. Even if you haven't got a powerful telescope these eyepieces will make a dramatic difference.
