Compact and Brilliant
I was between a surface book and a new XPS 13 9560 for my new business notebook. This little device swung me over to get the Dell as I wanted something compact but when visiting customer sites for Demi's and presentations I need ports and this device is perfect rather than carrying around multiple adapters or a huge docking station. It works perfectly and makes the xps a versatile compact powerhouse

No working properly with any of the new XPS or Precision machines. Nothing wrong with the adapter, but problem with the laptops.

Perfect for MacBook Pro 15 Late 2016
Works perfectly with Macbook Pro 15 Late 2016, although unsupported by Dell. For the VGA and HDMI connections, just make sure that you connect the adapter to the Mac first, wait for a few seconds so that it is recognised (no notification of connection, in normal Mac fashion) and then plug the VGA or HDMI cable. Some monitors actually work without this (i.e., you may have the HDMI cable attached before plugging this to the Mac), such as my Dell 2713HM, but normally that is not the case.Update 23/05/2017 (bought on January 2017): After almost 5 months of working fine, initially the USB and Ethernet stopped working and a few days later HDMI and VGA also died. End of story. I'm replacing this with one Apple and 2 Belkin dongles... I was very happy with this because it was very portable but it is not reliable enough it seems. Downgrading from 5 stars to 1.

Great for 12 months, then dead
This worked great, but died after 12 months. Can't really tell what part of it failed, but it did get pretty hot when in use, so I suspect it either over-heated or the cable has broken somewhere inside the rubber housing. Not really the longevity I expected from the product, so won't be re-purchasing.

A bit expensive but great
Works great, small design fits in any pocket and feels durable. Also its original from dell, so no compatibility issues

Working fantasticly on a Matebook X Pro
Bought mainly to add an ethernet connection to a Matebook X Pro and has worked perfectly with no issues. The cable could be longer - it's a shame it couldn't have wrapped around to the other side for a bit more flexibility but it doesn't effect use all that badly.

Small, compact and the real item. Could have bought it cheaper on a competitors site , but you never know if it is a copy or a refurbished item.Cable is attached to the main body so you can not forget it or leave it attached to the computer. Folds into body to give a tidy look.
