OK. so my kneecaps measured at 13" so i purchased a Medium. Im not sure if i got the right size. but these puppies r tight. they're tight on the top abs bottom edges. i have a difficult time getting them up high enough on my things. i used them for all of my sets and they did start slipping a little bit down.... which makes me think it's not too small. odd design but im sure the more i use them the more easier it'll get for me to get on n off. defiantly helped with my knees. should have left them on for the rest of my leg workout tbh. but they're so tight they almost hurt at the holes and clearly that doesn't stop them from slipping down so. idk.

I've been using these heavy duty compression supports for my knee for quite a while now. Extremely happy with my purchase. Very comfortable because I wear one on my right knee daily, all day long. It stays in place and I rarely need to adjust. These supports have allowed me to be very active outdoors. I have put them through the ringer for a long time and there is no wear and tear as of yet. I've worn them in rivers and the ocean. When they get wet, it does not affect the support. They feel the same as before I entered the water. They dry quickly while I'm still wearing them. Seriously, these have been a game changer for me and have given me confidence to be active again. In 2018 I had 2 arthroscopic knee surgeries to remove torn meniscus. Healing time has taken forever. These sleeves give me the extra support I need, even if it's just a mental thing. I highly recommend.

I have Level II chondromalacia patellae on both knees and I have been practicing crossfit for almost 3 years now. I was always scared to put up additional weights or perform some specific exercises, so I always wore an elastic knee sleeve for protection. I finally decided to try the neoprene 7mm type and OMG it is so much better. I am so happy with it, it protected my knees, gives the support I need and helps me specially with squats and heavy lifting. I will definitely recommend. True to size and great quality. It gets soaked after an intense workout but it doesn't smell and dries back really fast. 5 stars!

Unfortunately, I bought these at the beginning of a 3 week period of resting my knees from a strain. Then went on a two week mission trip. Upon return I tried to use them for the first time after 5 weeks of owning them. The seems ripped on one on the very first use as I was putting it on. Like a hot knife on butter. I barely started to put it up my calf and the seam just popped right open. Now, it's too late to return. Worthless......UPDATE: 2nd one ripped on the 5th use while I was lifting heavy weights. Worthless garbage.

I would have given these knee sleeves 5 stars but had to subtract 2 stars due to the petro-chemical smell in the fabric. I ordered these to take on a walking tour overseas and don't have time to return and replace these sleeves otherwise I would. If I put them in a plastic bag inside of my suitcase maybe the smell won't escape to my clothes. Since the walk is outdoors I am hoping that no one notices the noxious smell emanating from my knees. It's really bad! I have already washed them twice and hung them outside to dry with not much of a difference but will keep trying.Otherwise, these knee sleeves are the perfect thickness to provide maximum support to my knees during workouts. They also appear to be very well made and durable but I just can't get past the smell...
