Works great! Rust flakes drop off, and the remaining surface residue that isn't readily wiped off appears to turn into a passive coating. I just leave the stuff soaking in this for a couple of days

This stuff definitely works. I left some rusty nuts & bolts from the underside of a 21 year old car in Evaporust for 24 hours. Took them out. They looked a lot cleaner. Left them in fresh Evaporust for another 24 hours and they actually looked like new - clean, shiny silver metal, no rust! Amazing stuff!It is rather expensive for what you get though.

had a few rusty tools needing attention. those with superficial rust came out nice and clean, the crusty ones not so good

This removed rust very well, much more effective than wd40 and white vinegar.I highly recommend it, this is now my go to method for removing rust when restoring vintage computers and consoles.

A had heard a lot about Evaporust from YouTube vids on engineering that I'd watched and assumed the overnight soak back to bare metal was achievable. So I bought a litre and after first cleaning off any oil and dirt with solvent, submerged the brake calliper slider and it's pins in it overnight. 24Hrs later and much of the rust had gone but the part was still encrusted with a lot of rust with only patches of bare metal. This liquid is therefore no more effective than citric acid or vinegar, but a damn sight more expensive. All the hype I'd heard and seen was therefore just a case of the emperor's new clothes and this liquid is closer to snake oil than a fast rust remover. I cannot recommend this to anyone as it's just too expensive (£17 per litre) for what it achieves.

He probado en varias piezas con oxido y no quita nada, reblandece un poco el oxido superficial pero... Para nada lo que debería, si es para piezas con poco oxido superficial podría servir un poco para ayudar a quitar las manchas de oxido pero nada más, bajo mi opinión
