I got this for a front portion of my office that features a workbench area and which currently doesn't have a functional ceiling light. This is the floor lamp equivalent of a desktop lamp I got several years ago that I've absolutely loved. I love the versatility of modern lamps where, in addition to the intensity of the lighting, it's also possible to alter the nature of that lighting for different situations, and then flexibility allowing for that light to be directed where you want it. In this case, since the two sides each move on their own, it's two lights in one and you can either focus both on the same spot or on different spots. The touch controls on the pole are very easy to use ... and the remote control, which easily attaches to the pole via magnets, gives further controls. The only thing that this needs is some loctite since this is a segmented pole where the 4 pieces have to be screwed together. Because it does have the touch-based control on the pole as well as the fact retrieving the remote and putting it back also involved touch, I've found myself regularly retightening the pole. I'm sure it would take a lot to truly unscrew any of the segments, it's just a matter of stability when you're going to position a light and you feel some "give" in the pole. One variation of this light, which I hadn't seen beforehand but may have picked up instead, has a third light that, like a permanently mounted shower head, is always facing downward like a reading lamp while still having the two adjustable lights. Something that would been a good option if I just wanted this light to be the only light in my office. But, for my immediate needs, I still like the relative simplicity of this one which gives a "halo" effect, which fits in neatly with my celestial design motif.

I LOVE THIS LAMP! It is so easy to use once you learn the buttons on the remote! AND there's touch buttons on the lamp pole, top! This lamp is so much fun and beautiful 😍 I love that I can make the colored LEDs brighter or dimmer! If you see this review, buy it. You will love it just as much as I do! It was easy to assemble but the directions in the book were just a little confusing. Especially how to activate the remote. But, its not as complicated as it seems to be. Absolutely worth the money spent!

Nice lamp & different than others. Like how bright it is & even the dimmed setting. The remote is easy to use, will attach to lamp or metal. Has 1hr sleep setting would like less or way to do 15mins. I usually use it when cleaning up and set it to go off when done.

The media could not be loaded. This light is surprisingly versatile in what it does. I purchased it looking to brighten up my dim living room. This adequately covers my small apartment living room (about 25ft wide), so I was more than satisfied.Assembly was very easy and the packaging was professional and secure. There aren’t any general instructions, but it’s easy to figure out and no tools are required.The pole comes split into pieces and you can simply hand-screw everything into place, plug things in and boom! you’re done.The given manual teaches more on the buttons and how they change the light. It was neat finding the touch commands on the pole itself react to how long you press them.A clip in the back of the remote did break along the way, however, I contacted the Sibrille email provided in their manual and they promptly responded.Eager to help, they helped find a solution using rubber bands to hold the batteries in place. T’was a convenient fix and easier for me than replacing remote’s backing.Hence, I’ll note that the remote can be fragile as it’s made from lighter materials. Accidentally dropping it on a hard surface just as 3 feet could damage it, so I’d advise keeping it on the lower end of the light pole when using the magnetic feature.Aside from that, I was relieved to find that the RGB version also had everything that the regular version had (warm room colors and all). The RGB adds to the “cool” factor I was personally looking for.Being able to adjust the lighting also gave it an artistic appeal that we enjoyed playing with.I can definitely recommend this light for it’s lighting versatility, uniqueness, and ease of use
