This is an awesome and fun game for my 5 year old son and for us parents. My son is able to practice math without it feeling like it’s “work”. He finds opportunities to play this game with us multiple times a day. The game is of great quality in terms of the pieces and in terms of the design. It’s easy to learn. I highly recommend.

So much to love about this game! High quality, sturdy, beautiful design, and engaging game play make this game a winner! The kids are drawn to the volcano and although it is only used as a penalty, the kids don’t complain when they get to launch the die and have to go backwards. I love the 10 sided dice for the variety of math equations and the 2 routes to take on the board. Kids don’t realize they are basically doing math drills while playing the game. It’s been the top choice for a while now! Worth the price!

Awesome game! Math island is a little harder of a game than Sum Swamp (which is very fun and easier math). A perfect step up game to keep math fun and kidos learning!!

I am sooo impressed with this game! One child doesn't like board games and enjoyed this one. It makes addition and subtraction not feel like math. Teaches odds and evens. Has some fun surprises, like a volcano that you use to send a die in the air. It is quick, because kids can roll 10 + 9 to move quickly across the board. Lose turns are infrequent and players are only allowed one volcano move back a game. My kids are kids who typically need extra help and this game worked for practicing math at home.

Very good to keep the children practicing simple additions and substractions. I take 1 star out because it is difficult to keep in the head what to do in all the different special cases. My sons love the volcano so it is difficult to keep them from using it for each single draw.

My daughter loves this game it’s so fun to play. The educational content and quality of this game have helped my daughter with her addition and subtraction so much we play this game every night after dinner perfect for kids who are just learning math to all the way up to parents or any adult.

Great math game for young kids that are just learning basic math. Learning is fun but challenging and kids stay engaged with the game! The board and game parts are great quality too!
