Easy, just use a ceramic sharpener. Light touch ups is all it takes for this knife.

Is the sheath designed for belt use?

I wear it on the inside of the waist belt with the clip on the outside. The thread through slots might be a bit narrow for a belt. Oren Peri answered on October 1, 2017
