Product works Perfectly!
Product is perfect. Rarely can I ever say that on here. I had a problem with my boat trickle charger. Rain kept tripping the GFI; and then I had a dead boat. Twice, in the first week, the Risinglink prevented disaster. It sent a text and an email, the power was out! Flawless. Beautiful boat ride was not missed..Easy set up. Green light tells u you power is on. Gizmo tells you when it goes out and when it comes back on. And the form factor is small enough to fit inside the covered small outlet box. Rarely does a product do exactly what its supposed to do. The thing simply works!

Works great and critically needed
We have a koi pond and if the electricity is interrupted our fish could die. The Risinglink Power Failure Detector has been fantastic when we travel, letting us know if the power goes out. It has its own battery and doesn't need the power from a socket. And, as importantly, when the power comes back on. It sends us both a text and an email, and the notices can be sent to multiple people. E.g., our son when we are away. Great product and VERY simple to set up.

Easy to setup and provides reliable notifications
We purchased this to use in our RV to alert us of a power failure when we are away. We have been using it for about 2 months now and it has worked flawlessly for us. We found the set up very simple and the instructions were clear. The device had no issue discovering and connecting to our wi-fi hotspot. It alerts us reliably each time the power is lost to the unit. It is small and easy to stick on the wall with a command strip. We placed it inside a cabinet where the microwave is plugged in to be out of the way and not use up another outlet. We use email and phone alerts to 2 different email addresses and 2 different phones and we receive the notices within a few seconds of the power failure. This has worked reliably well for us so far.

Works and saves money!!!
Lifesaver! I bought this item bc I experienced a power outage in a portion of my garage that my deep freezer (and a lot of grocery items) are connected to. It took a few tries to get the item to connect, but it paired after a few tries and has worked great since! It has already alerted me a few times now saving me hundreds of dollars of groceries. Pairing the item differs a bit depending on whether or not you have an iPhone or android device. Just be patient and follow the directions to the T, and it will work! Again, great product.

I found a better product than this. This one sucks.
Don't buy this. I've had nothing but problems with it from the beginning. Offline notifications have been sporadic and has resulted in my septic pump, which it was monitoring, to have stopped twice and backed up plumbing into my house. And flooded my floors. And there is supposedly an alarm that I have set up to alert me when power is lost but it has never worked.I've contacted customer service multiple times with my issues.Apparently, I have not been online since April and when I was trying to refresh and set it up I was not able to. And now, despite repeated contacts with the customer support, they are now saying I am out of warranty.I have since found A better device that I recommend and that is Necto Cellular Temperature & Humidity Monitor. It will do the same thing to notify you with the loss of power however it is constantly connected to a cellular service without having to pay for such service. I just started it but I already recommend it because it seems to work as I need it to work to notify me of a loss of power of my circuit. For some reason my GFCI likes to trip and I have already had a professional plumber try to fix it.

These devices work (it was my network blocking their functionality) They work as expected now.
Found these here on Amazon while looking for a "connected" power monitor. When they arrived I excitedly tried to get them connected to my home network. Upon failing, I then connected them to my cellular phone hot spot and they worked seamlessly. Devices worked as expected. This led me to digging in to my home network. I of course emailed support at the same time. Throughout the day support and I exchanged emails as they suggested possible items within my network that I could check on. Finally after a lot of back and forth and my own investigation, I found a router rule that was blocking the communication. FYI - I have a sonic wall SOHO 250 and simply put in an "allowed" rule for the IP address of the device. Oh, I should tell you that support was able to provide me the MAC address that allowed me to find the IP address for my rule. I have test these now many times and have not had a failure. Bottom line, chances are its a setting on your network that may cause the devices to appear not to function. DO reach out to support - they are very helpful. I like the peace of mind knowing if the power is on/off while I am away from my home.

Works great, easy to set up, no subscription required.
This unit works great. I bought this monitor since our power is lost anytime you sneeze outside. I bought a different model before this one, and returned it as soon as I found out you needed to subscribe to a service. This one is easy to set up. Plug it in, find the SSID in the WiFi list, connect and enter an e-mail address and/or text number. Now the power company can't deny power failures - I have an e-mail record of each failure to the second. Two suggestions. One, the alarm is VERY loud. You will know when the power goes out. I would not recommend plugging this into a bedroom, find a utility room or something. Second, it will need a WiFi connection to report. My WiFi cable modem is plugged into a UPS system, so it stays alive during a power failure. If you do not have a UPS, there are cable companies that provide WiFi modems that have their own battery backup built-in. Talk with your provider on how to keep the WiFi connection alive during a power failure.

Easy to install and the job perfectly.
We have two basement sewer pumps on one garage fridge that cannot lose power. There are several very 'complicated' systems out there with a bunch of possibilities, we just wanted to keep it simple; let us know if any of those appliances loses power. Set-up was very straight forward, and we bundled the plug, the cable, and the sensor. It sends out text messages as well as emails, immediately when power is lost and/or restored. Does the job perfectly.
