The product color was supposed to be dark brown, but instead turned my hair a deep, jet black. The instant I started putting on the second cream, my hair started turning black. It almost looks like I painted my hair with black shoe polish. The product also smells horrible. It made my hair smell terrible, even after two washings. It smells like rotten eggs. I am allergic to PPD, so I can no longer use traditional hair dye, but this product was not a good alternative. The one positive is, it did not irritate my scalp.

Apling takes time as it should be in two stages and I have to wait 10 min in between. But the result is good and it is not as hot as other products
