My pup loves puzzles for eats and treats. Keeps her from being bored and engaged in brain game and slower eating too. We previously purchased a beginners puzzle. My cavapoo figured it out quickly, so decided on this one to add a bit more challenge.

Simple, the dogs love it, the trick to loading is to not try to fill each spot just open a few drop a few dog food pieces slide the traps closed drop a few more until each has something in it.

The media could not be loaded. Good toy,my poodle puppy loves this. Keeps her busy and engaged. I would recommend not using the little rubber feet that come to be inserted in the bottom, the picture I shared shows the toy flipped over in the corners. Would normally be little black rubber feet to keep the toy from moving on a slippery surface.. My puppy had an easy time flipping this toy over and removing the black rubber part to chew on. I caught her just in time before she swallowed it. It could be a choking hazard or they could swallow the small black piece of rubber I ended up throwing them away and just keeping the toy as is because she likes it so much.

This puzzle is awesome! Took my pup a while but he figured out all the maneuvers and found all the treats! He loves it and even plays with it when it’s empty. Great for their development and keeps them busy.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This puzzle toy is a great way to keep my dog entertained while also working her brain. It’s sturdy enough to handle some pawing and nudging, and the different compartments and moving parts really make her slow down and figure things out. I love watching her problem-solve—it’s like a little doggie game of concentration.It’s also a great tool for puppies or high-energy dogs who need mental stimulation (or just a little distraction). Bonus: it works for cats too! I tried it with our cat using some small treats and she actually got into it.Great little gift idea for any pet parent looking to keep their dog or cat challenged and happy.

This review is long overdue. My bad...but I just came across it in my closet since I put it away a long time ago.At first this was a great toy for my dog. He had a lot of fun getting the treats out, using his nose and paws and looked forward to me filling it for him. That is, until one day he got his toenail stuck in the top of one of the slider slots. (There are openings on the top of each slider.) Needless to say he panicked and I had a heck of a time getting his nail loose. I never considered something like that could happen but it did.I let a week or two go by and after putting clear tape on top of all openings, I decided to try to try it again with him. No go. He remembered what happened and won't go near it. I believe the idea was that those openings were put there for the smell of the treats to get out. But for my dog, it's a design flaw that caught his nail and freaked him out.

Worthwhile investment. My dog enjoys playing with this every day. It's a nice distraction. He is a busy 2 year old who needs to be stimulated often. I'd buy another product from this company. It's durable and my aggressive chewer has not tried to eat it.

Absolutely best thing I purchased for my 9 month old Shorkie, Hannah. She is a very high energy puppy who gets bored easily and doesn't normally like her dried dog food until this great thing!!! Now she loves her food and can't wait for me to fill it up!!! Best part is it keeps he occupied!!! What a wonderful idea!!! Love this and totally recommend it!!!
