LOVE 'EM! Bought six.
(Reviewing the LARGE size Sistema Mug- 30.4 ounces, although they look alike, they come in several sizes. Check to be sure you are getting the size you want before ordering.)I absolutely LOVE these mugs.Bought a blue one first to take soup to work for lunch. However, found myself using it at home too - for soup, chili, and to store leftovers in the fridge. I have reheated mac and cheese and casseroles as well. Works also for hot or cold beverages. Lots of room for a big beverage AND ice cubes. I have made milkshakes it them. Uses are endless.(These are NOT intended to be leakproof) Snap on lid is great. NO, you can't put liquid in it and turn it upside down and expect it not to leak. I use the lid if storing in fridge or for travel. Just keep it right side up and no problems. I take the lid off in the microwave and use a venting plastic dome type cover just because I don't want to unsnap the lid while it is filled with hot liquid. No brainer. Yes you could unsnap the lid and open the vent and lay the lid on top of the mug in the microwave, but my way seems easier to me.Caution: Anything with tomato in it will stain, so DO NOT BOIL anything in them, just heat gently. Boiling/high heat can damage the plastic according to the manufacturer. Even heating gently, I did get a very SLIGHT red stain in my blue one even though I didn't boil in it, but after using and washing a couple of times, it is now gone!I liked the blue one so much, I bought one in orange, purple, green, pink and red for an even half dozen. Now when I make homemade soup or stew, I can put it in the mugs and I have lunch and or dinner for days. Meal in a mug! (Not sure about freezing in them) I try to use the red, pink, and orange one for tomato based foods. It holds almost a quart, so you can easily make a big bowl of soup without filling it to the top. That and the big handle make it easy to carry from microwave to table without the lid, even a room away. Just don’t trip! Or put the lid on while carrying. Doesn't get hot like a ceramic soup bowl. Handle stays cool and is easy for small hands and big hands alike. The plastic is almost self-cleaning. Nothing liquid based seems to stick to it, especially liquid soups. Washing is just a formality! LOL.Negative reviews seem to me to be largely from individuals who didn’t take the time to read the instructions or who are reviewing their particular seller. Not quite fair. One review I read started out with “You would assume . . .” Seriously?I am fussy, and I highly recommend these mugs. However, I read the instructions before using. Shop around; the prices vary quite a bit. I bought mine on two different websites from several different sellers in order to get the best prices.

Perfect size for soups
Great container for heating soups and serving it. I like that it holds the whole can and I can eat it without having to put it in another dish. It’s also convenient to microwave other leftovers. Love the size and look of it.

It's a good soup mug
I like it, it works well for soup and such. I'm a bit bummed I didn't get the pink one I ordered, I got a dark blue one instead, but it still does the job.

Really helpful and comfortable.
Very nice to heat a cup of your favorite hot morning breakfast beverage. The lid keeps it from sloshing out while being carried, and has a closante vent so it won’t explode in the microwave , vent opened for cooking. Then I close to vent before carding my hot cup back to my place. I have been very sick for several months, luckily improving, but things like this cup are a pleasant help. I also have several of the bowls. Easy to wash up and cheerful colors. The handles fit my hand easily, and the clips keep the lid on well while carding the cup.

Just perfect for soup
I haven’t even had it for a week and I am surprised at how well this is working for me. It’s just perfect as the cold weather arrives and I am eating more soup.Whether it’s a can of condensed soup or a larger ready to eat variety, it’s just perfect to drop the contents of the can in, stir in water and/or milk if needed and heat in the microwave. I don’t have to worry about any messes in the microwave or anything spilling. Although it’s not leak proof, it’s safe enough to carry back to my room — I have a comfy chair that is just perfect to relax and enjoy hot bowl of soup.I have seen that several people have rated some of these products poorly because they didn’t read the description. Because it comes in an assortment of colors, some think that they are purchasing more than one at a time, and they’re just wrong. Some people expect to use these as travel mugs and I repeat, they are not leak proof.

perfect RAMEN/noodle cup
A few times a week I like to make instant vegan ramen for lunch and throw in a bunch of veggies with it, and this cup is PERFECT for that. I throw everything into it, clip on the top, microwave for a few minutes (it's an extra large cup so that when the water in the ramen boils, it doesn't boil over) and then let the cup sit for a few minutes, and I get perfection. The cup doesn't get hot, the seal is mostly air-tight so the noodles can rest in the boiling water and the heat doesn't seep out, and it's so large that you can make a regular cup of ramen plus add ingredients and still have room to stir and carry it to where you are sitting and eat it.My only little tiny criticism is that where the top clips on is a raised rim around the edge of the mug, so if you make hot beverages in this, it's not a great MUG mug. It's a pain to sip around the rim. I wish they had just put the ridges on parts of the mug's edge, so that there were smooth areas to sip from. But other than that, this is exactly what I was looking for.

Handy and Practical
This mug is so practical! It's easy to use and clean, and keeps your food hot for longer than anything else I've used before. The design in user user-friendly and it fits comfortably in your hands. The lid lets out just the right amount of steam and helps cool your food when you're ready to eat.
