5 stars, this splitter does exactly what it is supposed to do. Nothing fancy just splits the audio output from my motherboard rear panel to a wired headphone and to my powered speakers and sub woofer system. Not glitchy audio or easily pulled cords, the ports lock the audio plugs in tight.I would certainly buy this companies audio products in the future. Great price and great (albeit generic) quality product!

A great solution for having 1 device and 2 kids who want to use it. Worked well on my road trip and kids didn't complain.

Got this so I could use an MP3 player with one speaker and one set of headphones rather than plugging and unplugging them. This fits both as expected and does indeed split the sound into both. HOWEVER, the sound quality disappeared. Or rather, I lost a large portion of the lower registers so that the sound is now treble-heavy. It's "okay," in that regard, but far from ideal and what I wanted. Still, overall, this works and would be fine for something like a portable DVD player or maybe even gaming, but for actual music listening, less than ideal.

I don't normally give bad reviews (you know... if you don't have something nice to say and all that). When I received this, the sound was not a good quality through the headphones, plus it kept cutting out...so you couldn't move at all. I got a dud with a bad cord, evidently. The worst part was, I tried to return it through Amazon, but it said this manufacturer didn't offer returns. I had to call them. I explained the situation and was put on hold, just for them to come back and tell me to return it through Amazon. Obviously, they weren't listening to me when I told them the company didn't offer returns. This item wasn't that expensive...I just wanted a refund. But after being put on hold TWO more times, they finally said I would get an email and to provide a photo of the item, the e-receipt, and my shipping address. I did receive a replacement, but the sound is still of poor quality. (At least this one doesn't cut out.) But I will be purchasing a better one on Amazon. Don't bother with this splitter or this company that doesn't offer returns and has a less-than-stellar customer service experience.

We are listening VERY carefully to the final edit of my upcoming how-to audio book ["I Want To Podcast!].To do this we need to plug in TWO studio-quality headphones into a laptop and play the audio back using and audio editor. This way we could make minor changes easily.This simple, durable splitter was perfect for our needs. It should also work for dual listening with audio players. Podcasters could also use it when recording a guest with a recorder in a noisy location.
