Nail polishes are amazing. I am hard on my nails, and this polish stays on for days. You do not need a base coat! The topcoat protects your manicure and should be reapplied a few days after.

This topcoat is easy to use, dry fast and protect my nail polish.I highly recommend this.

This marvelous and full-gloss topcoat dries within a flash and imparts a sturdy, non-yellowing lovely protective coat on either bare nails or polish. Clean ingredients are an added bonus, but I personally find that nothing can beat its shine-level and drying time. On drier days, I have touch-dryness within about a minute or two, on humid days a tad longer, but still remarkably fast compared to regualr polish. This dries faster on bare nails and hasn't yet caused my nail to yellow or flake compared to other tops I've tried. The wear time I would also consider as long, as it's been able to help my color pedis last with just a single coat, extending my wear from 3 days to chipping to close to 7 or 10 when I use two coats.Although this gloss top can become a bit hazy due to manual wear on fingers and toes, it's easy to refresh and dries in a snap. I especially like it to bring out the shine in glitter polishes or those with microglitter like spectraflair. Too fabulous!Mani-Pedi Tip: The brush can be overladen with polish when you first take it out of a new bottle. The coat is more viscous and fluid than an average polish and is prone to drips or overapplication. Let the brush sit for a moment above the bottle opening or rub it over the lip before applying. Your tables will thank you!

I don't think this dried any faster than other similar products I've used, but I do like the formula on this. It's not too thin a consistency, applies nicely and self levels. Removal was easy, too. I didn't think the odor was bad, either.
