LG Electronics 32LJ500B 32-Inch 720p LED TV (2017 Model)

This LG 32" LED TV is an excellent product. Over the past six weeks I have ordered six 32" LED TVs from Amazon and sent all back except this one. I was trying to buy a 32" TV with DVD player to be able to use just one remote while exercising on a noisy rowing machine. However, the three TV DVD combos that I received all failed within a few days. They also had poor sound systems. So I decided to try buying a separate TV and DVD player, with two more unsatisfactory results. However, this LG TV paired with an LG DP132H All Region Code DVD Player gave me the perfect solution. The LG TV sound quality is great and plenty loud enough to hear over the rower. The pairing with the LG DVD player means that one remote controls both devices with no programming. I never realized the difference it makes to use the same brand DVD player with the TV, but it works so much better. This TV has excellent sound, an excellent picture, is easy to mount on a VideoSecu ML531BE TV Wall Mount, and pairs very well with the LG All Region DVD player. I am delighted!

Here we are Feb 2020 I've had the TV since June 2019 & it hasn't given up yet. Best investment from LG. Just wish they would make bigger sizes without all the Apps and keep it Basic. Just Great !The size 32" was perfect for my needs right now. I don't delve into what the 21st century wants us to have its what I want. I can't believe some buyers here or else where buyers complain about not getting certain Apps first most DVD or Blu Ray players Game consoles have the ability to get Apps when there hooked up to there TVs. If you only have 1 source for watching TV or downloading a movie fine but to complain you don't get HBO GO or whatever serioulsy do your homework ! I have 4 different sources for watching a movie so I don't need a Smart TV to add to the pile just a TV.All is about Apple TV Roku and on & on geez. The company's should always offer the option of having a TV or Monitor TV without being Smart as its called, Most companies give you 3 or 4 HDMI inputs so work from that. Also people complain that these companies add there own built in software that they have sign up for plus any added Ads that the companies feel you should have . Just give us a TV to watch TV from whatever source we have. Most Home theater receivers have built in Apps also so there also you have more than you need.As for this LG TV its great for the Price the Picture is great it might not be 4k HDR 10 or whatever it works for me.

I bought this 32- inch television to replace my Samsung that was suddenly unleashing a burning plastic smell with no picture on the screen to follow. This LG television arrived very protected in its box. In regards to assembly, you are provided screws and two connection stand pieces. You also have the option to mount this to the wall. Upon activating the device, you are guided to take care of a few settings and then the system finds your channels and adjusts accordingly. Additionally, this television comes with two HDMI connection ports. I found this to be very useful as I have various video game systems that can operate by using a linking HDMI cable. The overall picture quality/sound is very good. I highly recommend anyone interested in purchasing a new television to highly consider this brand. I can say with confidence this purchase was money well spent.

I bought this TV because I did not want a big change in devices.I did not want a "smart TV", as I am used to using the Roku for channels I receive via the internet.I had a very similar LG model which lasted 5 years before the LED picture faded out.Setting this one up was easy (once I figured out how to get the annoying voice whichwanted to tell me out loud the volume setting, the input, etc. turned off).This TV was NOS I believe - new old stock. It was manufactured in 2018. That is what I wantedand why I bought it. It did cost a bit more than more recent TV's of the same size.The sound is just fine. I suspect that is partially because it sits inside a large wooden cabinet where we kept the old one. I'm glad I chose this TV.

Decent tv. I use it as a monitor for my laptop. Easy to set up. Only draw back is the tv has only a power button. So make sure you keep up with your remote control. The power button is on the bottom left corner. It was hard to find at 1st. The color of the screen is decent. Nothing to brag about. The company shipped it quickly and it was packaged well. Attaching the legs was easy. And it seems to stay in place very well on my desk.

This TV is absolutely perfect. I bought it to use on my deck to remain safe during this Covid crisis and be able to watch a movie outdoors with a friend. It was completely easy to set up and the picture is great, as is the sound. I thought the price was very good on this product, and I’m completely happy with my purchase.

BE WARNED OF DELIVERY: The delivery person barely knocked on the door and left it on the porch.It's a tv I would think they "try" getting a live person. I happen to be walking by the fron door when I heard the knock otherwise it would have been there all morning it could have easily been stolen. Amazon didn't show delivered until a half hour later. As for the tv itself picture looks great. Remote works as expected... its just a remote. Easy assembly of tv stand. Unfortunately HDMI ports don't work. Cord I am using works fine on other tv's in the home, just not this tv. Will call amazon for help on returning it. I'll update if anything changes.

There is a very annoying woman voice that will drive you insane for audio. Telling you audio on and off, volume numbers etc. Drove us nuts. But, after looking under questions in the listing about how to turn the annoying voice off........the directions were easy to follow. The "audio voice" is gone! Overall TV is great!
